I moved to Salinas 18 months ago from Santa Cruz County. I looked and contacted many property management agencies , apartment managers. I really have to say that the Leasing Specialist Jessica for 36 North Properties was awesome to work with.
She was very responsive and punctual with either returning a phone call or email.
I have a very busy work schedule and she made the move in process very easy and worked with my schedule.

The property that I am in is very nice, clean & secure. So there are not many issues. The very few times I have had to contact the office , Isidro is quick to respond and take care of whatever the issue was.

Update! This is not a fradulant claim and such accusations should be avoided. Also, the lies stated in their response clearly demonstrate the type of company it is. See attached photos, just a few of the items and information to confirm my accurate statement. This post will be flagged and taken down but i will continue to provide evidence and additional reviews. Beware, your personal info is not secure. After I moved out, they linked my email to another Tennant, and I was able to see all of that tennents info as if it were my own portal. They would send me emails with communication for my neighbor for a year after I moved out. When they sent me a copy of the renewed lease for someone else, I happily signed it FU and sent it back. Have you been screwed by these criminals? Contact Morgan&Morgan lawfirm, for class action lawsuit and report to the National Realtors Association!

Jezabel at 36 North Property Management is beyond amazing in what she does to help people with their rentals. Her kindness, attention to detail, and quick follow up goes a long way. If you're looking for a property management company to go through - Jezabel is on top of it! Thank you.

04/03/2024 Original Post: 36 North Properties management service is beyond disappointing.

Despite my partner and I each paying a non-refundable $50 application fee (totaling $100) and submitting an application, we never even got the opportunity to see the property for a showing. For over three weeks, we waited in anticipation, only to be told that someone else had already taken it.

The complete lack of communication regarding the status of the property viewing is simply unacceptable. Avoid this service at all costs if you value transparency and respect for your time.

04/03/24 Edit (Response to Reply): It's worth noting that my partner’s current property management made numerous attempts to contact the property management in question but received no response. In the end, we had to take the initiative to obtain the necessary forms from our current management and forward them ourselves. Records clearly indicate that everything was in order. Therefore, the excuses provided by the 36 North Properties are unfounded and simply an attempt to deflect blame.

08/17/2024 Update: Despite the negative experience with 36 North Properties, I was able to successfully rent a property (somewhere else) at the end of April for a lease starting in May. It seems the issues I faced with 36 North Properties were isolated to that specific situation.

Horrible. Criminal. Took half of my deposit for reasons that were completely bogus. I completed the pre move out inspection. All recommendations made. Charges were for items never mentioned and not acceptable charges. The reality is that it's a lot of work to go through small claims court for 800$ to try and sue for it back. They know that and profit off of it. Horrible company for renters. As a realtor ( vs real estate agent, which that is what the owner is) she has moral and ethical obligation to do what's in the best interest of both parties. Landlord and renters. This is not the case however. UPDATE - AUDREY YES I DID THE PRE MOVE OUT INSPECTION AND YES THE APT WAS RETURED IN BETTER CONDITION THEN WHEN I RENTED. ALL PREVIOUS RENTERS WITH LOW STARS, I SUGGEST YOU TOO CONTACT THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS AND FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT.

I recently visited 36 North Properties Inc. to submit an application. Despite the office being busy, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in, even before stepping out of the elevator. The customer service was truly five-star!

We submitted a application for a rental from north property and we're still awaiting but Jessica has been very helpful through the process I truly recommend anyone to give a call if you have questions they will help you and tell you what they're missing etc all these reviews were misleading but I can tell you she was very helpful do your own research and deal with the company yourself !!!

Not just horrible but liars. They tried to say that my review about their poor data protection and personal information of another being shared was false. We'll here is just some of the proof! I moved out in 2022 also FYI.
