I loved this place it was calm and quiet, and The location is right by the redwoods and the Ocean. 4 beautiful rooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, lounge. Beautiful view of the ocean. Great restaurants nearby and activities.

This place is a hidden gem! The location to the Redwoods and the Pacific are amazing. Ocean views from the home. We rented the entire scopa house including the garden suite. It was super clean. Emily and Patti were so accommodating! The fresh flowers that they have growing in the garden added a fragrant beautiful touch to the home! If we are ever back in the area we will certainly get this home again.

The “garden suite” room that we booked was literally a conversion of the garage , with a lockout door to the main house. It was very small, with a kitchenette, queen bed, desk, closet, and bathroom with shower only. The first negative was when we arrived, the lockbox code emailed to us did not open it, and we had to call the manager to come and open our room. She mentioned that several of the property lock boxes had been broken, so we thought ours should have been checked prior to our arrival. The next thing I noticed was there were NO instructions for operating the small wall television, and I couldn’t figure out the two remotes. I gave up. Next, we attempted to load and start the dishwasher the morning of our departure and it started and then stopped, giving an error code. Based on the acrid smell coming from inside, it was likely not working for awhile. The sliding door to patio we kept open to hear the ocean sounds, but could not open the other windows above the bed because of the smell of weed coming from across the parking lot where other guests were smoking on their front porch. We coerced there to be patio furniture in the large garden area, which would have been a place to sit with morning coffee or to eat, but there was only a tiny, rickety table with two chairs that looked like they’d break if sat on. We drank our coffee sitting in bed instead. We are disappointed with this stay since the description of the room and what we experienced were much different. For the nightly rate we paid, it was definitely not worth it for this “garden suite”. ||

Highly recommended. We spent 2 nights and rented two rooms. The house was spotless and beautiful. We went with our 2 year old daughter, without knowing the B&B was not suited for young children. Patti asked me if my daughter sleeps well, I told them she does, moreover she is kind of a quiet child for being 2. They made an exception. We had a great time. Breakfast was delicious and Emily was great! Beautiful ocean view rooms.

This is a lovely little enclave right across the street from the beach. We stayed in the Fern Suite which is one of (I think) 3 that make up the Seaview House. Lots of privacy, our room/unit was separated from the other units by a door and had a small kitchenette, bathroom, living area and bedroom. For larger families, I could see renting out the entire house. On the same property is the B&B and another home that Scopa at the Sea offers. The owner was very responsive and we were so glad to find such a beautiful beach cottage right there across the street from amazing sunsets. We only stayed one night but will definitely look forward to our next return trip.

This is a great property in Crescent City, just across the beach in a residential area. It was the best B&B we stayed in on our 10 day road trip to No California and Oregon. The bed was super comfy, the property offered many places to relax and the innkeepers were fantastic! Will definitely stay here again!

Great place! We stayed overnight in the Garden Room; Nice, private room; very spacious and very clean. It had a nice large working space in it and it was super helpful as I had to catch up on work so it was nice not having to do it from the bed. Thank you!

Not sure if this was a new property or just nicely renovated. We stayed in the “Fern” suite. It was one of 3 properties sharing the same deck. It had the possibility of a connecting door, to what a assume was a larger suite with a full kitchen. Or suite had a small counter, toaster and microwave. We just needed to heat up leftovers from the night before, so we didn’t need to cook. It also had a keurig for coffee. We were right across the street from the beach. We had a lovely walk on the beach at sunset! I would 100% recommend this property.
