December 4th. An amazing day. Loved it here. Lots of cool rocks and shells, and my dog had a BLAST for her first time on the beach. Parking lot was clean and facilities were decent.

Beautiful beach that I visited with my family to fly a kite. My 6 year old son loved running around with the kite. The sand was mostly clean and the waves breaking on the shore was breathtakingly beautiful. The surrounding landscape combined with the breaking waves was amazing. What a beautiful beach!

Great beach to find sand dollars! Horse riders just let their animals poop wherever and they don't clean it up, so do some of the dog owners. Not a huge amount of trash on the beach though.

This Beach is peaceful, and quite for a family walk. We had fun looking for sand dollars and running during the ocean low tide.

Very quiet and calm beach! There were so many crab shells everywhere and the water was really cold. It is very easily accessible off the road and has plenty of parking for quick access. Dog friendly!!

Love coming to this beach. If you're in the mood for a quick get in, and quick get out as you drive through the coastline, this is the place! Not far off of the main road as you head out or into Crescent City. I've been here twice and both times it wasn't crowded. A few locals might come for the day but it's mostly just visitors passing through.

There's parking for maybe 50 cars? But both times I stopped by (May 2022 & Aug 2024), there were maybe 5-10 cars there. The beach is clean, not many ammenities (no bathrooms that I saw), MAYBE a trashcan that was maintained. There is no lifeguard. Just a place to stop, walk out on the sand and smell the ocean air. Walk the beachline (there's miles) and stop to see a live sanddollar (put it back in the water to keep it alive and continue to grow bigger) or marvel all the gorgeous colored rocks. Not many shells as the west coast doesn't pound the shores like the other US coastlines. So shells in general are less in quantity to find, but more in-tact shells are found, just not very many.

It's a clean beach, but if you find that occassional bit of trash, help do your part and pick it up, throw it in the trash can as you head back to the car! Enjoy the views!

Love Crescent Beach. Great for long walks, beautiful on clear days and beautiful and mystical on foggy days. You could become a sand dollar millionaire here. Easy parking off 101 or go to the beach on the south end where they have bathrooms. No fee areas on this beach.

This beach is super flat and thats not a bad thing! It's different then the usual Northern California beaches I've been to because it's pretty easy walking for miles. The waves were super low and calm and there are sandollars everywhere. I wish we had had more time to explore here. People were having bonfires on the beach and one guy even drove his truck right on down to the sand and drove south to the point where we couldn't see him. Another couple brought their chairs and put them in the shallow waves and enjoyed the sunset. The parking is just right off the road but I did not see any bathrooms here.
