If there were an award for the most pleasant car-buying experience, this Volkswagen dealership would win it hands down! From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt like a cherished family member rather than just another customer. The entire team was warm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable—ready to answer all my questions without a hint of pressure.

My wonderful salesperson Caleb J took the time to understand exactly what I needed, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring I felt confident in my choice. The financing process was smooth as silk, and they went above and beyond to make everything easy to understand.

And can we talk about the waiting area? It was spotless, cozy, and even had refreshments that made me feel like I was visiting a dear friend’s home rather than a dealership. The attention to detail, from start to finish, was simply impeccable.

Purchased a car this month from Chico Volkswagon. After requesting communication online about a vehicle, Rian was professional and on it but not pushy and over the top. I then filled out my application for loan and it got denied through the auto system (I have a colorful and complicated credit history..all on me) but he called and let me know that it would be worked out in person with more documentation.
We then set up a time for me and my husband to come in and set up a test drive as I was coming in from out of the area.
When we arrived Rian walked out and greeted us and we got right to it looking at all the vehicles we wanted to, I had originally thought new but switched to used and that was no problem. We went out on a test drive and Rian was very knowledgeable and able to find my answers about the vehicle I was driving.
Came back looked at another vehicle but ultimately decided to talk numbers. Rian made that part of the process easy.
The numbers guy the negotiation guy, didn’t catch his name he was too much. I guess there’s a reason he doesn’t have much human interaction.
Once me Rian and my Husband shook hands on a deal we moved to paperwork with Nathan. Who was excellent and thorough at explaining things. They were very clear that if we needed anything later to contact them.

Another great peace of mind thing is all of their vehicles new or used come with a bumper to bumper power train warranty. I know that doesn’t cover a lot. But it’s something and I think cool they do that.

Anyways, great experience, Rian and Nathan were great will hopefully be able to continue to buy cars here. Worth the drive. And I love my Used Honda Pilot already.

Such a great experience! The facility is very clean and the atmosphere was very upbeat with the employees, which says a lot of great things about the owner to have such a happy environment for his staff!
I was helped by Caleb and he was the absolute best! Very easy to talk to, did not make me feel like an idiot for my millions of questions that I had, and I did not feel rushed or that he was being pushy in the slightest. I have gone to other dealerships and it is easy to tell when the employees are just trying to make a sale and being pushy, but I did not get that sense here even in the slightest. I would recommend Caleb and this facility to anyone and everyone. Not one single bad thing to say!!

My car was making a weird pinging noise and I couldn’t figure it out. Talked to Caleb for some help. He assured he’d get some answers for me. Got a call back and it was just a simple bit of heat shielding that got bent (snow got a little deep). Got it fixed and its been fine ever since.

He truly seems to enjoy his job, as he’s always in a great mood whenever I bring my car in for service. Just a few weeks ago, I needed new wiper blades for my in-laws’ Tiguan, and Caleb went above and beyond—making sure I got the correct ones and even installing them himself. Excellent customer service!

Chico VW has a great atmosphere, good service, and is very clean and well maintained. Compared to the other dealerships in town this one feels more boutique in the sense that it is so customer oriented and the salesman Taylor has exceptional manners and is truly your friend not your salesman throughout the whole process, looking out for you so you get you exactly what you need at a price you can afford.
