So beware this is a recent review . Me and my family applied to a house that was supposed to be rented. One person told us to send all the i formation and the money we did and it first come first serve 7-15 days will get an answer . Now the house is off market somebody else got it and our money is gone our application was not summited ! We were never called or follow up whit anything .now we call them
And another person picks up and claims that they don’t process your application till 6 ppl applied !!! To one property and you can’t applied to multiple homes like really lol so which story is it now?! They play phone tag and take your money I’m going to follow up whit BBB and other resources this is ridiculous system !

Ny wife and I live out of state. We are trying to move to California and when I called this company. The representative over the phone said that I would need to provide physical copies of my ID and SS cards of any resident applying along with $60 cash or money order to apply. Isn't this 2022? Get the with the times.

The Lady that helped me was really nice and polite very good customer service and getting there with directions was really good unfortunately there is only curbside parking but it's not busy so parking is good.

I have Rented a few properties from Newton Properties for around 10 years total and they have been nothing but nice to me, The staff is so kind and Vicki is wonderful, she had always treated me with kindness and care.
If any issues arose, i called and someone was out to fix whatever was happening with no hesitation.
There was a time i was renting a beautiful house and my company had closed and i lost my job and i called and talked to Vicki and she went out of her way to talk to the owner and helped me with a few ideas to help me so i didn't lose the house and until i could find another job and for that i will forever grateful to her.
Anyone that rents from them , you all know when you sign the lease what is expected of you as a renter, they make everything very clear and if you don't do your part then is no one to blame but yourself.
I highly recommend renting for them, they are all very nice and go out of there way to help everyone.

We rented there before and I must say I'm very disappointed in the professionalism of this company they ripped me off they took all of my deposit and charged me even more I had this house cleaned professionally just to see how they would treat us and we still were charged carpet cleaning and house cleaning. If I were you I would not rent from this company or let your house to be looked over my them.
