Horrible first time home buying experience. One of their realtors (Marty) is dating their financial lady, which is fine except it interferes with communication and professionalism. They were never on the same page, they would harass us with the text messages and tell us we were late for deadlines, but when we would call our lender to figure out what part we were missing they'd confirm we had completed the needed paperwork, days prior. When my husband called their supervisor, we were ignored. We did all of the footwork, finding the house, showing the house to ourselves and communicating with our lender and then we were gaslit into thinking we were doing something wrong. They were rude and the day we got our keys, we didn't get a congratulations, a picture or anything. We were met with more attitudes. Absolutely unacceptable experience.

We recently bought a home and Josephine O'Donoghue was actually the seller's realtor, but she showed such kindness and integrity that I asked her to serve double duty and be our realtor as well. She did a really wonderful job of serving both parties' interests, which can be really tricky. She gave excellent advice, including how to research something on the property at the City of Chico and who might be a great lender. Josephine's experience helped guide us through a smooth, on-time 30-day escrow. We could not be happier with our new house or with Josephine's expert care.

Working with Voigt Advantage was hands down the best decision we made when selling our home. Gabe Dusharme and Brian Voigt offered complete transparency throughout the transaction, treated us like valued clients, were professional, courteous, pragmatic, grounded, and efficient. We did incur some difficulties, through no fault of Gabe or Brian, and not atypical of any home sale of that magnitude and age. Both Brian and Gabe stepped up to the plate and walked us through those situations with grace and ease. A previous realtor claimed they didn't realize they had to hold our hand through the process (and was soon after fired). Sure, we've bought and sold before, but that was eons ago and isn't that the whole reason for hiring a professional who is up to date with the trends of the moment? Brian and Gabe not only recognized our needs, but they were supportive in a way that made us feel important, intelligent, and respected. We've come to learn this is a rare but admirable trait which is why, no holds barred, we highly recommend them. And if that's not enough to convince you, their transaction coordinator, Karen G. totally rocks! Humorous, efficient, down-to-earth, and boy does she know her stuff.

Vickie Miller was referred to us by friends, and we hired her as our selling agent for a property we owned in Chico. Since we live out of town, coordinating all the preparation was going to be a challenge for us, but Vickie made it so easy. She did such a great job staging the place that both the buyers and us (the sellers) wanted to buy some of her staging furniture. We had an offer at asking price the first day. Even so, she arranged an Open House for back-up offers (which we also got). In the end we sold to the original offer, and all went smoothly. Vickie is a pleasure to work with, and I would do it again!
