Trying to get a hold of someone is near impossible. Getting a respond back or answers is even worse. I keep getting the runaround and no one is held accountable.
Charges for utilities are astronomical and everyone just says that’s comparable to other places. Sewage nearly $100. Garbage $80! And it’s split with all other residents. That’s over $4,000 a months for garbage? Again, no one has answers.
And the pictures and descriptions online are false. Only a couple apartments look like the pictures. The rest are stuck in the 1970’s

Our Leasing Manager Lawrence goes above & beyond for his residents. If you have a maintenance issue he handles it immediately. If there is any issue he takes no time to resolve it. When maintenance is out due to illness he handles all duties himself. If he isn't in the office it's because he is for sure fixing, cleaning, or helping a resident or future resident. He is also very nice & polite & really cares. Thank you Lawrence for being the best always!

I think the charges for utilities is a rip off.
I moved here from my own house which are still on and it did not cost me that much for water and garbage and sewer with a wife and two kids in the house.
Every other apartment I looked at before I rented here they said maximum of $100 a month I'm paying $160 something here every month for utilities.

Moved here during COVID and Tara Lopez (Property Manager) helped make the move-in experience low-stress, comfortable and efficient. Throughout my time living at Mission Pines, Tara was extremely helpful and always made sure I felt welcomed. She is not only a great Property Manager, but she is also just a genuinely nice, positive human being. Great location near highway and shopping centers.

We lived at Mission Pines for 2.5 years. The only reason why we moved out, is because we bought a house. Mission Pines is a wonderful place to live. It's a family friendly environment. Tara Lopez, the manager, is phenomenal! She goes above and beyond to make sure her tenants are taken care of. She is always friendly. She does extra special things for the kids in the complex. An example is at Halloween she handed out little bags of treats and toys to all the kids in the complex. Whenever we had an issue with anything, she was always responsive. We miss Mission Pines! that's a hit. they just want your application money. Britney is manager of Mission Pines and also Oak Apartment. she made an appointment with us 2 times to visit and see the contract we signed on the website online. I leave my job 1 hour early in oakland to be on time at the appointed time. she had no respect or consideration when she was there, she never answers the phone. whoever rents these apartments will have problems solving anything. Britney is not a good manager. she's a liar, she says she has her application and then says she's not. she says she's touring with interested people but actually there's no one doing the tour. She is lying to get rid of talking to you. on the website it says that the workshop will be open from 10am until 6pm don't believe it because she and no one else is there at any time. a frustrating week with lies.

My husband and I both submitted applications here and spoke with the manager and she said she would get back to us the next day if not by the end of the current day. We waited and nothing, so we called and no one answered. We went to their office on site and no one answered the door when we knocked so we figured no one was there and blinds were closed. We sat in car for a moment and to our surprise someone comes out of the office door we just knocked on. I asked this women why didn’t she answer door and were here to check on application status , she claims she had a phone call and is sorry and she’s just here temporarily from the company because staff is out. She couldn’t access anything to help us. What’s the point of being here to help if u can’t actually HELP? No we never got a call back or email from no one at this property approving or declining us… worse experience ever…

Update. I DID CALL, guess what? No answer as usual. Tell Brittany to respond to her emails. Isn’t that what a manager does? Or am I over stepping my boundaries? Don’t bother applying. You won’t get any help from the staff that work here. No call back no email response. UPDATING MY REVIEW. This place is just plain GARBAGE . Great location but as far as the STAFF/ EMPLOYEES/ MANAGEMENT/ MAINTENANCE PEOPLE.. GARBAGE. Must be nice collecting a check to do absolutely nothin but walk up and down the hill, check the safe for checks and PRETEND your busy huh? Enjoy your covid vacation, your laziness will pay off soon.
