Brilliant hotel, great location for exploring Lower East Side’s bars and restaurants. 10-15 min walk to Chinatown and views of the river and bridges. Service from all staff was impeccable every day - Alex the doorman was such a delight - always smiling and being helpful. Rooms and on the smaller side but incredibly comfy beds and great shower. Bars within the hotel are all gorgeous too with a great happy hour. WiFi was great. Only niggle was the availability of breakfast - other than fruit it’s all sweet sugary muffins etc. Worth heading out for brunch if you’re in NYC anyway! But absolutely would recommend again and again.

A seriously great hotel, just wanted to firstly give a shout out to Alex the door man who welcomed us so warmly every time we came in and out and made every effort to help us with our bags or directions. His happy energy is wonderful.

The rooms are good, bed super comfy, nice and contemporary styling throughout the hotel. All staff welcoming, friendly and helpful.

We were always happy to come back after a long day of sight seeing.

The breakfast that's included could be a bit better, its prepackaged muffins, fruit and yoghurt, so all quite sweet. We often ended up using our destination fee in the cafe as the coffee and food was better there.

I literally love this hotel. It's small but they staff are over the top accommodating. We booked a corner view room and when we got up there we realized how small it was and our baggage wouldn't even fit so we went down to ask for a larger room and the upgraded us to an executive room for free! This is the 3rd time we've stayed there and they have always made sure we are happy and comfortable and don't mind swapping rooms if you aren't. I highly recommend this place for that alone. But it's also so cute. Perfect coffee and breakfast snack bar in the lobby so you don't have to leave for coffee in the morning! And proximity to little italy and China town for food is so great. Definitely stay here!

The Moxy Lower East Side offers an affordable price point for small business people and tourists combined with a very chic hotel that maximizes every inch of space. Some of the rooms can feel very small but a quick ride down the elevator leads you to a very spacious lobby with lots of chairs and ample eating options from a small café to a bar to a sushi restaurant and it’s within walking distance of all the great Chinatown restaurants. The staff are wonderful, but they don’t have any overnight concession. If you’re hungry you have to order something to the hotel. Also, the front desk is not at all responsive to phone calls from the room. You have to go down in person. This was an issue a couple of times for me, but the people who helped me with my booking through the group booking office were truly excellent. We were here with Winter Jazzfest for the second year in a row, and we were given use of both the factory loft on the seventh floor and the studio in the lobby and both those served our purposes for media use very well. Will definitely be coming back here to stay many times.

Positive: Hotel was very clean. All the staff I interacted with were super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the lobby bar and coffee shop daily. The elevators were super FAST, which seems to be rare in the area. Easy subway access. Negative: Room is very small, but most are in the area. I actually liked the shower/sink/toilet setup, but I can see room size being an issue for some.

I travel to NYC for work often, always stay at the Moxy, and always have such a stellar experience that I figured it was well past time I leave them the review they deserve. The Lower East Side location has such a fun energy and the staff is always on point. The lobby has plenty of space to work with a cute cafe serving great coffee and small bites. The room was spotless with a super comfy bed and a shower that heats up fast with GREAT water pressure. I also love knowing there's always a steamer in the room so I don't have to bring one. The restaurant onsite, Sake No Hana, is SO good and there's a lounge that plays live music on the lobby level. It's such a great home base to come back to and there isn't a single other hotel at this price point that can even pretend to compete. I can't recommend it enough!

The Moxy Lower East Side staff was absolutely amazing! Service was impeccable! Walkable to fantastic sites. The food and drinks at the Silver Lining was delightful and delicious. Unfortunately, the room was just a little too small to my liking. However, I could have forgotten the room size if I had cell phone reception at the hotel. Calls were breaking up, dropping and some just going to voicemail. On a business trip, not a good thing.

Lovely hotel, this was our first visit to NYC and to be fair this hotel was ideal for us. Staff we great and helpful, from the check-in to walking out of the door. I’m not sure if it is a ‘MOXY’ thing, but our room was never cleaned during our week stay, not an issue as I can make a bed but seemed a bit unusual. If using a bar and you are charging to the room, you need to ensure you have ID on your person (just to prove, it’s you charging to your room), makes sense but, worth noting to save you a trek back to your room. Overall, this place is lovely and I would 100% recommend and stay again. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Big shout out goes to Alex on the main door, always welcoming us back from a long day out was worth the money it cost in itself!!
