My husband, two kids and I were moving back to the Bay Area for a job relocation and were torn on Marin vs East Bay vs Peninsula at the start of our search. We ultimately landed on our dream home in Corte Madera with Alex’s help! We were first introduced to Alex for our Marin focus via a friend who had purchased her house through him in Mill Valley and had a great experience. Not only did Alex need to help us graciously transition from a family real estate friend who had been previously helping us (explaining the value of having someone with local insights and off market connections and maturely and thoughtfully talking to our friend and even went as far as offering a referral fee), but he was a joy to work with from start to finish. We discussed at length what we were looking for, things that were important to us and less important as well as our budget parameters. We were on a bit of a tight timeline for a number of reasons and Alex was super responsive throughout, arranged tours for homes and would scope things out ahead of time for us so we made minimal trips from Southern California. When we were considering making an offer, Alex’s expertise helped us navigate disclosures and things to look out for, and he was there for every step of the process to answer any questions we had. We always felt like he had our best interest at heart - and wasn’t just interested in closing a deal.

After a few weeks, Alex encouraged us to see a home he’d toured off market and we immediately fell in love. He was able to magically navigate the negotiation to where we received an accepted offer from the sellers just before their open house and were grateful to have avoided what would likely have become a bidding war. Alex was again super responsive during every step of the closing process and helped us with everything from furniture purchasing to meeting GCs for us and granting access to the home while we were out of town.
