Truly enjoy living here! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests are completed very quickly. Common areas and trash rooms are kept immaculately clean. We love it.

Been here for nearly a year. Building is terrific and the management team really goes the extra mile especially Elidon Nika and Alisa Maurice. We just renewed for another year.

By far the worst management I have ever dealt with. The management office ignores emails for months on end and refuses to correct their mistakes. They had account errors occur across the board when they changed software in October 2023 and have refused to do anything about it. Instead, they have proceeded to illegally charge late fees every month even though rent is paid in full and on time. If you ever do get lucky enough to receive an email response, expect a rude and unprofessional message from the property manager, Melanie. It’s a shame that the management is so unprofessional and a nightmare to deal with since 88 Leonard has the potential to be a great building.

88 Leonard is an incredible place to call home! I lived in the building for 3 years and it felt like a haven from day one. The resident manager, Elidon, was consistently attentive and accommodating. The doormen and porters (especially Darwin, Chris and Carlos) always welcomed me warmly and made sure I was taken care of — whether it was package delivery, maintenance, or greeting my guests. Can’t recommend the building enough!

If you're comparing 88 Leonard to other buildings you are considering, just know that 1) you won't find as good management and such a friendly team; 2) the location is easily walkable to the energy of SoHo/Greenwich/West Village without having to live among the often crowded and noisy streets; 3) the apartments have good, usable square footage and lots of light; and 4) prices are really good right now!

Full disclosure I don’t live here but I walk past this building 3-4 times a week to get to the Crunch next door. The entire block smells like dog poop because of all the dogs that live in this building. It’s disgusting (especially during the warmer months) I can tell that maintenance cleans the block everyday but it still reeks.
