This is a gem of an apartment in northern NJ. Discovered this property almost by accident 2 years ago while I was searching for a place to move in from NYC, and have been loving it ever since. Leonia itself is a unique place to be in next to Palisades Park and Fort Lee, both a bit more crowded and more urban; it provides a much more relaxed feel, small town atmosphere, and above all a safe neighborhood.

The property provides a professional management, and the upkeep is top-notch. They maintain a pristine landscape, and buildings and other structures are very well cared for. All renovated units have dark hardwood floor throughout, in-unit washer and dryer, and a reverse-osmosis water purifier.

Location-wise, you can't beat having CVS and post office just across the street. There is also plenty of green space in the neighborhood to walk to, and you can hop on bus to NYC from just across the street.

If you are in the market for an apartment, this should be on your list.

If you choose this place, know that construction is always happening! How is an undergraduate student expected to study during the pandemic when everyone is shut inside at home with all this noise? They start as early as 8 AM and go throughout the day. It's immensely annoying and it taking a toll on my mental health and grades. There are no other spaces to study during a pandemic. I would like to see them restrict construction to only a few certain hours of the day and give the residents of the building some prior notice! If you are/have students in your family, this place is not for you!

The construction never ends! And it's for something completely cosmetic too. Especially during the pandemic, when most of us are working from home, having concrete slammed at our walls from an ungodly hour every single morning is completely unacceptable and disruptive. Pandemic aside, this has been going on for MONTHS. It's ridiculous and really goes to show that all the building cares about is looking attractive to potential new renters and their money, not their current residents.

The new resident manager is super nice and helpful! This apartment is close to schools, the bus to NYC, and in walking distance to most of the stuff in town. I've lived here for a while and had an overall good experience!

This building has been undergoing cosmetic construction for several months throughout the pandemic, causing extreme disruptions at inappropriate hours while everybody is forced to stay at home. Horrible communication from the building administrators, and rent was just raised. Would not recommend.

Leonia manor exceeded all my expectations. The location is fantastic, with easy access to express bus(to NYC, 166T) and plenty of stores in walking distance (restaurants, Hmart, nail shops, 반찬가게, 떡집 etc) . The apartment itself was beautifully constructed and immaculately clean. Additionally, the leasing office team and property management team (especially Maia!) was incredibly responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a new home! 팰팍옆에 있어서 한국가게들 가기에도 편리한데, 팰팍보다 훨씬 차분하고 평화로운 느낌에, 주변에 학교가 있어서 안전한 느낌도 듭니다. 살면서 넘 좋았어요!!!😊😊😊 이사갈 일만 아니었다면 여기서 계속 살았을 거예요!!!!!!
