The best views you will ever get in Manhattan + gorgeous sunsets over the Hudson + views of the Empire State Building. Staff has been incredibly kind especially Dan Serin at the Leasing office. Personally have had amazing experiences with the doormen especially Danny & Don. And the handyman Richie is always so sweet and kind.

The gym has a fully squat rack which is a huge plus and so rare in Manhattan plus the half basketball court is amazing!

The building itself is on the older side and sometimes things run slow like elevators or maintenance requests pile up... but the convenience of the location and the views are unbeatable!!!

I don’t usually leave reviews in Google Maps, but I’ll have to say this is the worst apartment I’ve lived in. All 4 elevators never worked at the same time during the one year I lived here, and there was always a long queue waiting for the elevators in the lobby during rush hours. I believe many people have read the whole doorman situation, and I can assure you it’s true and you’ll get headaches just from talking to the front desk. It’s impossible to list all the bad experience here, so just try to avoid it as much as possible. I moved out as quickly as I could.

I've moved out a few years ago, saw a lot of people still talking about this so I have to share my experience. It will be a horrible experience for you if you are Asian, hard to move in, hard to move out, hard to get packages, hard to ask for any kind if service, they will always find ways to disgust you. I've had a good relationship with the doorman at the back door but he quit when I moved out, the only understanding person left. They will also find ways to deduct your security deposit, for problems like "the gaps between the tiles are turning black". Don't go if you're an international student or someone moving here for the first time!

Super rude front desk, hide my package from Apple which has a brand new iPhone 14 Pro in there. Never got any response from leasing office when I left and required my deposit money back, took me one year to finally got it. Horrible place and management team.

2024 Jan edit: Management finally fixed the last of the issues with the apartment today! I’ve been at Epic for over a month now and absolutely love it. Front desk staff is 10/10 and Greg was kind and worked out all the issues with my apartment.

-1 star because the apartment gets pretty noisy at night specially on lower floors facing W 31st st. I wasn’t aware before signing but there’s a fire department right under it

I truly hope I can come back here and edit this review to 5 stars… Move in day today and the team has been awesome, but the apartment condition is grotesque!!! It completely failed inspections and I’m supposed to move in today so I’m wondering what management will do to fix it.

Pictures speak for themselves. Paying over $4k in rent for the apartment to look like this doesn’t sit right. Will keep you all posted on how management fixes this problem.

I've had an excellent experience with our leasing office. From the moment I moved in, their team has been incredibly helpful and attentive to my needs. Any time I've had a question or needed assistance, they've responded promptly and professionally. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, ensuring that my living environment remains comfortable and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure residents are happy. I highly recommend this leasing office for their outstanding service and dedication to their residents.

Just moving out of here tomorrow and wanted to leave my 2c. Everything is good, mgmt team is decent and care for the building. Things break, like the elevators (1/2 out of 4 at times) were not working for a solid 3-4 months after I moved in, but now all 4 work and it’s better. Doormen are nice. My 1 star off is because you have vacant units with rent lower than what I pay with the same view but you tried to jack my rent higher. Makes zero sense but maybe you just want the units to turn than keep the cost same for existing rent or maybe even lower it (4 floors down, same view, apartment was listed cheaper!)

The worst management ever. I moved out in January 2024, didn’t receive deposits back till March. Absolutely no one responded when I reach out for an itemized list for the couple hundreds dollars they deducted from my deposits (when we did move out inspection it was all fine, I tried NUMEROUS phone calls, emails, even went in person to leasing office only got told that they are not in charge of accounting). My friend who moved out around same time got 2k+ taken away without explanation. As of now I have no other ways to access the management so I have no choice but to take further action. Please stay away from this building they will take your deposits and disappear
