Quaint little campground with country charm. New owner who is very personalble AND accomodating. Price to stay is extremely reasonable. Really friendly residents which is most sites. Stream runs thru middle of CG, when it's stocked, offers bountiful trout! I heard good bass fishing nearby. Great view nestled up to Sierras. The restaurant and bar are closed. Spaces are small, no picnic tables at sites, but most have shade and great hook ups. Easy on/off 395 south of Big Pine.

This campground is a hidden gem in our opinion. First, it is centrally located in the Owen Valley with Lone Pine 30 min to the south, Bristlecone forest 45 min north, and Bishop being 30 min to the north. Mammoth is about an hour to the north and Death Valley about 2 hours to the southeast. Our site was F9 and is on the end of the row. This campground is mostly a mobile home park with RV spots. Our site even came with a carport. The water is spring/well and is excellent with pressure around 45psi. Per the owner's recommendation, we filled out fresh water tank to enjoy the water on the road. Sewer and electric is located together with electric always remaining at 120v on each leg (50amp). We used our Starlink and had no issues with obstructions. Navigating the property was easy - we were in a 43ft motorhome. This property backs up to the east face of the Sierra Nevada mountains with the peaks only being 8 miles away. Your view of the mountains stretch 15 miles, north and south - phenomenal mountain views. The owner and staff are a 10 out of 10. Even the guests we met were super friendly. We can't say enough about this campground. We visited in our 43ft motorhome pulling our Expedition.

Nice view of mountains. Good location easy access off hwy 395. Everything is done online. No one there to greet or help you when you arrive. I wasn't sure I was at the right place because I didn't see a sign for Aberdeen Resort. And let me say this is no resort. But an adequate tiny mobile home park with campsites. Campsites set up kind of weird. With location for utilities in some of the sites, on the opposite side of your rig. Bring a long hose and electrical extension cord. I recommend that you check your site for ants. Tiny black (food) ants and biting red ants infest the campground. Also saw lots of dead mice laying on the grounds. My first site F-9 was more expensive but was a large pull site. With gorgeous mountain view. Until I discovered the whole campsite was crawling with ants. I let my dog out in her pen and the ants attacked her they were crawling all up my motorhome. The ground was covered with them. I've been rving for 10 yrs and have never encountered such an ant problem. Maybe I drove over a nest but I checked several other sites that all has lots of ants. I had to change sites which turned into a problem and cost me an extra 45.00 for the hipcamp reservation fee. I could not reach the owner for help and everything is done online. I was kind of lost about what to do. Also I was quoted 46.00 a night but had to book online through hipcamp who adds 18% to the cost. The owner is not in site and there is no host. So when I needed help I went to one of the residence who was very nice and helpful.
I only stayed 3 day and paid for 4 plus all the hipcamp fees. It cost a lot more then I expected.
I probably would not go back.
