Our anniversary stay at Sierra Meadows Ranch in Mammoth Lakes was pure magic. The ranch was spotless, nestled amidst stunning, snow-covered mountains. Mark's exceptional hospitality truly made our trip. He left a thoughtful anniversary card and generously provided gondola (edit) passes! He was also incredibly helpful with local recommendations. The ranch's tranquil setting was perfect for both relaxation and adventure. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas, and cozy evenings at the cabin. Highly recommend Sierra Meadows Ranch for an unforgettable mountain getaway, especially thanks to Mark's warm welcome. We can't wait to return!

This cabin was lovely! I stayed in the Juniper cabin with my partner and medium sized dog. Plenty of space for us and the cabin had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. It was only a 8-10 min drive to Canyon Lodge and a 2 min drive to Vons 🙂 One night we also walked to Distant Brewing which had great beers and food.
I would highly recommend staying at Sierra Meadows.

My wife and I stayed in one of the cabins over 2024 Christmas and really enjoyed our stay, again. We previously stayed in a different cabin at Sierra Meadows Ranch in 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed it then as well. The cabins have been spotless on our arrival and are well – equipped. The Ranch location is absolutely perfect, just off old Mammoth Road. The eagle Lodge lift is only five minutes away and the village gondola less than 10 minutes from the ranch.Really good breakfast spots and dinner restaurants are located within a few blocks and there is a good Puerto Rican/Cuban/Spanish restaurant on the ranch property. Snow removal is done twice a day when it is snowing. The on-site manager Mark is the hardest working manager we have ever met, and he is also the most helpful, friendly manager. The Ranch is a gem!

This place is worth the price. With such a huge plot of land, there’s so much to do. We spent a whole day just exploring and playing on the ranch alone. The people that own the place are so nice and accommodating. They gave us recommendations and discounts to local businesses and always made sure to check on us. 10/10 will come back fs

This place is full of a type of beauty that no camera can capture. I kinda hope nobody finds out about it. That's not cool though, and Mark and all the people I came across at Sierra Meadows Ranch were all cool! This is a magical spot. If you do visit, please be sure to take care of the land and all that surrounds it. I'll be back and can't wait to share it with my son.

We stayed at Sierra Meadows Ranch recently during a road trip. Reservations , our stay, and check out were seamless and smooth . Mark does a great job running TheRanch and is super responsive. Sierra Meadows Ranch was beyond what we expected!! First, we were stunned by how great the cabins were. They’re in such great shape & very well cleaned. We expected it to feel like we were camping, but the cabins were in such great condition, it felt like we were at a resort.

Secondly, the landscape was way more epic than what we thought! The photos do not do it justice.

Additionally, the property manager, Mark, was very friendly and showed us around the property and chatted with us about recommendations around the area. (Side note, the ranch is right on the outskirt of town. So it’s within walking distance to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc! But still quiet enough that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the wilderness)I cannot stress enough how your experience of a place/area is affected by the locals. Mark made us feel so welcomed with his warm and inviting personality! It made us feel like Mammoth/Sierra Meadows Ranch was a home away from home!

We will definitely be coming back- maybe even to get married here!! We loved it so much & even took some great portraits of ourselves with the amazing landscape on the ranch.

There is no place in Mammoth that accommodates horse owners like Sierra Meadows Ranch. Horse owners are often a forgotten group in a world of accommodations for hikers, bikers and skiers. But this ranch allows you to bring your own well-seasoned horse, board in the corrals right on the property and stay in the comfortable cabins just steps away. (They don't rent horses, bring your own.) You and your horse will enjoy comfortable accommodations with everything Mammoth has to offer. The trails are multi-use, open to horses, so RIDE to your heart's content! Yes, the trails are SIERRA MOUNTAIN trails so expect technical obstacles, altitude, rocks, switchbacks, everything MOUNTAIN terrain has to offer. But the scenery and lakes are stunning and well worth the effort. Parking at the trailheads can be tricky so go early to beat the day hikers and take as few rigs as possible (consolidate if necessary).

The corrals are clean and spacious with a choice of either totally uncovered or partially enclosed stalls. There's plenty of room to drive your rig right up to the corral for easy loading/unloading. A water hose and large water barrel was provided for each corral. There are round pens and a large arena to let your horse run free in the mountain air. The parking lot is huge for horse rigs.

The cabins are really nice and set up for families to enjoy. Bunk beds for kids and flexible adults. A private bedroom for parents or the lucky one who draws the long straw. The kitchen had everything we needed to store and prepare food. After a long day's ride, a HOT shower was really appreciated. The wifi worked fine and the TV had more than enough channels.

The property owner, Mark, was responsive, accommodating and very reasonable. The booking process was easy, check-in was a breeze, and communication was great! You can't go wrong with this place. I will definitely be back.
