After living here at Hazel ranch for over 3 years I have nothing but nice things to say about my stay . The area is beautiful and close to a lot of fun spots in fair oaks . The apartment had my own personal washer and drier which I loved and a nice layout I liked living there in my 2 bed 1 bath . Service from employees and maintenance workers is very professional and helpful . Anita and Liz together helped me personally a lot with various issues and things that came up for me . Never an issue that wasn’t resolved or fixed . Beyond that the neighbors are quiet and respectful which I really appreciated. Never once had to worry of a package being stolen or mail . I’ve stayed at a couple different apartments complexes throughout my years and hands down this stay at Hazel ranch was my favorite !

Beautiful apt. Looking for a 2 bedroom and was met with a very professional young lady to show myself and my son around. This will be his first place. It's a great neighborhood. Apts are spacious and gated. Paperwork was quick and easy. Sleeping well knowing he is in a nice place he can call home

I have lived in Hazel Ranch apartments for about 7 years now. We have gone through different management over the years and now we finally have someone who cares!

Anita is the most caring person and Hazel Ranch is lucky to have her! She has gone out of her way to help the residents at the complex.

Management is making an effort to get the residents together by having events for holidays and the newest event is having food trucks come every couple of months.

Yes, the complex is not perfect but it has improved a great deal since I moved in back in 2017!

I’ve read some of the reviews and yes there has been “situations” here but you cannot blame management for other peoples actions. I saw first hand what Anita had done for the residents that day and the day after. Anita truly cares about the residents and you will see that within 30 seconds in talking with her.

I thought I should write a review since I been here for a year and i have interacted with the staff. I love the apartments and the atmosphere of them. I wanted to give out a kudos to Anita McCoy one of the leasing agents she’s always super welcoming with a smile and always willing to help out when needed. She’s very kindhearted and always gets the job done. I truly appreciate her for all the help she has giving to me since I’ve been here. Thank you again

Worst apartment I have ever lived in. I moved in sight unseen due to moving from across country. The place was filthy upon moving in, the shower was already peeling and it smelled poor and moldy. I am a nasty neat individual and no matter how much I cleaned it would always smell musty. After months of living in the apartment, they finally addressed the peeling shower. When sprayed, they over sprayed and damaged many items I had in the bathroom. (They did not fully tent the shower) after telling the landlord, she offered me $50 gift card to Raley’s. My toothbrush alone was $150. Management is insanely rude and only accommodating BEFORE you sign the lease. Go to move out and they hold most of your security. When I left it was spotless but was charged several fees. Avoid this place like the plague and if you’re willing to spend a few hundred more you’ll get so much more bang for your buck. Zero stars if I could.

Ps 1st floor apartments hear every and I mean every footstep.

Edit: This edit is to comment on your response: I called that number earlier and was greeted by a rude property manager named Liz. At the end of the call she said “I hope you have the day you deserve” in a condescending manner and then hung up. I’ve already left a message to corporate.

I know there is a lot of negative reviews but I had to come see for myself and glad I did!!

Anita and Liz are amazing!!!!!! I toured the property with Anita and she answered all my questions was patient and so nice as I toured apartments and asked a lot of questions. She never made me feel like a question was silly or too much. I love living here!

Anita and her manager Liz were so accommodating and made my move in process smooth.

I definitely recommend renting here! Beautiful complex and I love that it's close to the freeway!

No wonder this place ended up having a shooting...

A lot of sketchy people around the area. Management is a bunch of liars and thieves. They worry more about the outward maintenance instead of maintaining the inside of units. Liz lied to me saying that the blinds wouldn't be charged in the pre move out inspection and it did! In the process of suing them.

This is what my experience was like:

- Fire extinguisher missing for 9 months! (should have reported to fire marshal)
- Failing to repair moldy ceiling for a year.
- Ignoring maintenance requests.
- BROKEN A/C IN TRIPLE DIGIT WEATHER. No joke, the condenser was all rusty and they took TWO WEEKS to fix. (I know if it was their lobby it would be fixed the next day).

So if you like sketchy people, dumb fees, losing your deposit, having your maintenance requests ignored. Then come and apply for Hazel Ranch!

We have lived here for 2 years and have been very happy living here (we renewed our lease). The property is beautiful and clean with mature trees and well maintained landscaping. It’s also a very quiet and safe neighborhood in a great location, near shopping, the freeway, and the river/lake and nature trails. The units are clean with no pests, includes washer and dryer in unit, lots of natural light, and a cute back patio (negatives are that there’s no storage, no second bath like we wanted, and the kitchen is suuuuper small but it’s an apt so I can’t really be mad about that lol). I gave 4 stars because we had a bumpy start with an extremely unpleasant move in experience and we despised the last property management team (they bait and switched us saying we were getting a 2 bed 2 bath when we actually got a 2 bed 1 bath), but there have been a lot of changes in management and their current team of all new staff is really great. They put on resident events like food trucks, free pizza or breakfast, and decor competitions. They seem to really care about making sure the residents are safe and happy. They also are very responsive and seem to listen to resident feedback and use it to try to continuously improve, which is rare from my experience. I appreciate all the changes and the caring team and would recommend Hazel Ranch for your next home.
