We had the pleasure of working with Karen Garcia and Granville Property Management for nearly two years. Karen was excellent; she was proactive, engaging, and thoughtful. We initially met Karen while viewing a different home that Granville was managing. Unfortunately, it had been leased by the time we saw that home. However, Karen worked tirelessly to help us find another home in the Granville portfolio that would meet our needs. She was delightful to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Karen or Granville Property Management to anyone looking to lease a home in the Fresno area.

Really surprised to see the negative reviews on here.

Karen Garcia was our property manager for 2 years. She was awesome and Granville always took good care of us. We only had a handful of maintenance requests and they were always resolved promptly and professionally. There were no surprises at move out, and we got a very reasonable portion of our deposit back. We are seriously going to miss our old apartment and can only hope future landlords are as good as Granville was.

This place is awful to deal with Karen Garcia is the worst property management person I have ever dealt with . I would never suggest working with this company. We moved in and the place was so dirty I had to clean before I could even move in. I had it professionally cleaned when I moved out and it looks 100 better than I did when I moved in. She had the nerve to ask me for a receipt. If I could swear in this site I would. Karen is a B**. She doesn’t belong being in the position she is in. I will be complaining to the upper management as well. I scheduled a walk through with Karen and she kept blowing me off and wouldn’t do it. I have videos and pictures when I left . She better give me my deposit back. I will take them to small claims court . Worst experience ever!!!! Do not live in these homes . Find a new place to live..

If I could give them a ZERO I would. Horrible place to rent, we rented for almost 4 years left the house clean I even hired professional cleaners. Going to report them to BBB as well. The house had mold, I am currently suffering medical conditions due to the toxic black mold and still undergoing more lab tests and will do as well on my children. We even owe them instead of getting back a deposit refund. When we rented back in July 2020 due to Covid they didn't allow us to view the property not even virtual. We needed the 4/2 house moving from Paso Robles, CA (I regret moving to Fresno) so I said okay. The day they gave us the lockbox code we come to see that it's not in fact a 2 bath it's a shower and bath in the ONE bathroom and the other bathroom only a toilet and sink. Plus they never told us pool generator was extremely HIGH cost and they never told us the house had TWO AC Units. Electricity cost per month more or less $800 a month. I let them know of the mold issue, all they did was hire someone to paint over it. Extremely rude property manager, the receptionist however, is a sweetheart. I was not going to stay in a toxic mold environment with my four children that are as well experiencing toxic black mold withdrawals. They are horrible and I have documentation as evidence to back up everything I said. So grateful I was able to move out! The prior tenant only stayed there 1 year, I always wondered why if the house was nice and had a pool. The house plumbing is also extremely old, the plumber was nice enough to show me the issues and explain and our water was disgusting brown. We had to buy water filters and it was still dirty. Since that day, the plumber showed me I started looking for a place back in November 2023 and found a new home March 2024. This house was obviously old, about 60+ years but with old electricity and plumbing. Mold found everywhere and the AC unit was disgusting as well, old and no one had never cleaned it. My husband had to, I experienced many nose bleeds from there, one of them was a hospitalization that's how bad the mold exposure was. I feel bad for the new tenants, they don't know what they got themselves into.

I would not recommend Granville Realty. I began the application process for 525 San Jose with Karen Garcia and, later, Danielle Falaschi.

In submitting my application I was informed that, in the section where I list previous residences, the manager email address was no longer in use. This was from a large building in a major city, as well as from 2017. Karen had trouble figuring out how to contact this residence. The phone number I listed still worked and a simple Google search or telephone call would have given her the needed email information.

Frustrated with Karen and her inability to figure out a simple solution, I got in contact with Danielle. Danielle assured me she would take care of this situation and contact Karen. We even discussed a move in date, as well as when I should receive my approval email.

I suppose Karen was upset with me for speaking to Danielle because I then received an email stating the apartment had been leased by someone else!

I was surprised, especially given my conversation with Danielle. I did write to her explaining my disbelief at the situation and how inappropriate our conversation was given they selected someone else for the apartment.

In hindsight I’m glad this apartment did not work out for me. I was in a pinch to find a place and this complex looked ok. But, no central heat or air, coupled with the other bad reviews and the mistreatment by their ill equipped staff, makes me so relieved I was able to secure another apartment. I was approved within a day and they followed a similar process to the many apartments I’ve applied for in the past.

Also, Danielle mentioned I had good credit, which just threw me off. I’m very aware of my financial and credit situation. Her conversation is quite inappropriate. I would not recommend…

I have called for 3 days in a row to this property, I have not received 1 call back. I have been promised multiple call backs from representatives at the office I was supposed to hear from Daisy to call me about availability apartment homes via email or a phone call.

No response communication has happened in 3 days, going on 4.

Hopefully this request will make it to management and I will receive a call back.
