The Sonoma Management team went above and beyond my expectations of working with a property management company. Sonoma management has been great. Renters can be so needy and think the world revolves around them. I am happy to have such a nice place to live. Kimberly is great, always responsive, follows through and is very professional. There has never been a concern or issue with Sonoma Management!

Kim did an excellent job of managing a difficult couple of apts,, while the bldg. was for sale. She took over a problem situation with patience and experience. I am impressed with the time and attention to details that she used to handle a difficult tenant's move out. I live out of state, and trusted her decisions completely. The bookkeeper, Brigid, did an excellent job, as well. The monthly cost was more than fair, because of the amount of time it took to manage these apts. I highly recommend this business. Lynne Moore

SM has been a wonderful property management company for two rental properties in Sonoma. Extremely responsive and proactive service whenever there has been the need for work. I feel very comfortable that they are on top of both properties and that there is no need for me to micromanage them. I highly recommend their services!

They do not properly maintain rentals. Many units have walls full of non remediated mold and it's just covered by paint.They use extremely cheap flooring and paint their bathtubs instead of fixing them. The properties all have moisture issues from roofs and gutters being damaged and not repaired. The units are not cleaned by staff and sit for months in whatever state of decay they were in when the last tenants moved.Extreme rodent infestations and roaches are also on the menu in many rentals.If you want to live in a polished dump rent from them.

Wost company ever!! Made my wife stand in the pouring rain 30mins past our appointment time in a premier neighborhood. No urgency at all. Very unprofessional There is no excuse for this. We run a large company with 50 employees and problems all day and always manage to be punctual. If only the home owner knew who was representing their home. I'm embarrassed for this company Just quit if you cant do your job correctly !

No posted hours of business at bldg. Called on Sat early PM but no call back from agent. On Monday?Office Mngr called & said that they were open & I could bring my rent over. I'm disabled, retired RN in constant pain so to make 2 trips to pay rent (in cash) didn't make me happy. This was the 1st mo. that I had to make my payment in person, last mo. Kimberly, one of the 2 agents came to my place to do a walk-thru & have me sign a stack of papers & then she,in the course of the mo. never sent me a copy of the lease & all the paperwork. Iwould think that was illegal for me the tenant not be able to read lease or get a copy of it at time of new lease going into place. I paid her my new rent at the time of signing including the increase. My Atty. John Kelley was there & told me to sign the paperwork, which I intrepreted as meaning that he had reviewed the document & that it was safe & in my interest for me to sign this new lease...not true as this new lease made me responsible for maintaining the whole side of the property including weeding the driveway & plants & trees that my landlord put in the last year, which I was told NOT to touch ,but I would pull some weeds because most of them were low-lying spreadig web-like weeds that with my injuries can get my feet caught up in & I can't afford to fall again. I also end up pulling up weeds in the adjoining property, which is also under Sonoma Property Management Company, because they don't maintain that front yard well (it looks like poor white trash) live in the neighborhood, plus their weeds included blackberry bushes which I had taken years to eradicate from both properties growing over the fence. My Mother was a Real Estate Agent for over 20yrs & so I feel that I know how an agent should respond to a client.
This wk 6/5/18 I caught an employee there at 5:05 PM & was able to pay my rent even though they officially close at 5 PM.
