There are unfortunately few options in Ukiah for this sort of service.

When they know a tenant is moving out on a day the office is closed, they make no arrangements for key drop off. This is clearly a common issue based on other reviews I’ve seen.

They use any excuse they can to pass along costs to their tenants.

Maintenance is slow to respond to requests - if they respond at all. It’s almost as if think they slow walk the maintenance so that they can charge you for broken things after you’ve moved out.

Also, not the biggest deal, but the parking lot for their office is kind of dysfunctional.

I guess the front desk staff has always been pleasant.

Extremely unprofessional when it came to moving out. I was called multiple times regarding key drop off before they were even due. Once was by a third party contractor whose wife runs the rentals and it was before the keys were even due. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. The first was a Sunday and they are calling first thing Monday, the 2nd, when they opened asking where the keys are. Moving is stressful enough and as a tenant that was never late on rent in over 5 years they should get off my ass! You'll get your damn keys! If you showed this much interest in unit repair that would be phenomenal, but it's not like you really care about any of your tenants. Seltzer=Garbage

They do not honor or accept housing choice vouchers, doubly so if you're male. Even if you've been a customer there's before. Their staff is rude and again they discriminate against people who are trying to flee domestic violence. They will not provide them with housing funded by the federal government which they are required to buy law. They think that they are above the law. They like to pick the class of people to with which they would like to live in their house which isn't their choice. That's what fake capitalistic middlemen do. Why don't you guys stop being middlemen and actually do real work?. Middlemen are the most worthless drain to society.

I don't have anything negative to say about Seltzer Realty. In fact I think they have great realtors. However, the young man that works at the front desk is not so great. He was rude (not professional) and very under educated.

As a tenant they usually take care of any issues with the rental in a good timely manner, but you also get the notices for inspections on not so good times and they have the contract which pretty much gives them permission to go in if they've given you notice. Another time we were in vacation and they put a notice and went in without us knowing except when we noticed stuff slightly different and then a note stating that they had come in. So, being this way they are neutral for me as a tenant.

I rented an apartment from Selzer in 2019-2020. The rental market in Ukiah is very tight which makes it more difficult than average to secure a rental. I was fortunate to end up in a quaint studio with fantastic neighbors. I never had any maintenance issues while renting, and the office staff (Rosa) at Selzer was friendly and responsive while moving in/out.
