This property I lived in for a month was not as it is represented on this website furnished finders. When I originally moved in, it was listed as having a washer and dryer. (This has since been deleted once I protested) When I requested access to the washer and dryer I was told that there was none. So I let them know that I would be moving out at the end of the month. Once I moved out they told me I could not get my deposit back. They said my cat had created damage. This is a lie and absolutely no damage was ever created by myself or my cat. This property is a duplex and the owner, their children and three dogs live in the adjoining space. This is not disclosed.
Also I noticed that there are three doors exiting the apartment.You are only allowed to use one of the doors that goes to the main street. The door that goes to the backyard remains locked; they have a key you do not. The door that goes to the laundry room has a keypad on it. You are not allowed to use the laundry room. I also noticed that someone? entered the apartment while I was not there. I was not given any notice of their entering the place. The woman Amy of Humboldt retreats who is the property manager was extremely rude. I did not ever deal directly with the owners. Because of the fibbing about the washer and dryer plus not returning my $1,600 deposit or the cleaning deposit, I fear for anyone else who will likely be similarly treated. They are DISHONEST and should not be allowed to rent to anyone.

Easy to navigate website, plenty of good pictures and excellent descriptions. Amy is amazing to deal with, responds promptly to any questions & takes excellent care of us as guests. Great selection of properties available. Thoughtful and helpful local information as well as maps and guides in unit. Photo is a beach near where we stayed.
