I placed myself in Ranjit Marcu's hands and she started digging into to my money. Our first conversation over the phone she had to know, "What do you do for a living?! How do you expect to be able to pay me?!! She then asked me to come into the office where she insisted on cash upfront. I have never seen her again. No work at all has been forthcoming. Not a single scrap of paper except the cash receipt I had to insisted upon. She doesn't respond to any type of correspondence at all. Nothing. I have not been able to contact her for more than 5 weeks. It's been a long time since I have heard from her for just about 3 hours worth of work I was told.
Why? Why?

Unprofessional. Failed to perform as advertised:

Fact: She agreed to fill out some legal forms for a $900 deposit upfront.

Fact: I have been waiting more than 3 months and have yet to see a single document produced, or a single written word of any kind other than the receipt for the $900 she made me pay upfront.

Fact: After I asked for an invoice Ranjit Marcu of Marcu and Associates has not returned a single phone call or message for over a month.

Fact: I am hurt by this loss. I live in a van. I really needed those forms done.
I don't appreciate being ghosted after I asked for an invoice.
