My husband and I have been living in an apartment complex for the last 6 months and have experienced several property managers take over, but it wasn't until Cal-Prop took over where we felt that anything was getting done. We finally got our parking spots repainted, have an on-site facilities manager and our tickets are addressed right away! We are so happy to have them now and feel more comfortable in where we are living now. I recently became a resident at one of the San Diego locations, and since moving in, I have encountered multiple issues with my unit, particularly regarding property management. One significant issue was the failure of the refrigerator that came with the unit. When it stopped working, it took two days for a replacement to be provided, resulting in the loss of all the groceries I had stored.

I reached out to the property manager, Eric, to discuss the possibility of reimbursement for the food loss. However, I was informed that management does not take responsibility for such incidents, as the refrigerator was replaced within two days. Unfortunately, this decision has left me disappointed, as I believe it does not reflect a commitment to resident satisfaction or accountability.

Given my experience, I have decided not to renew my lease, and I cannot in good faith recommend this property to others. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration for improving future tenant experiences.

Loving our new house, rented through Cal-Prop. We put together a list of little maintenance issues (jammed window, sticky door, etc), and they sent Tyler right out to fix them within days. Tyler their handyman was fast, professional, and open to discussion. So far has been a very positive experience with Cal-Prop and their support team.
