These people are scammers they rented us a car and told us it was fine and this car jumps and turns off over and over again do not buy from them

Update: we got a call stating we were getting a full refund because the car was indeed messed up I have my receipt to prove I rented a car along side my back and screenshots where I paid $510 also proof I was over charged this company scams people even the security at the mall they are at says they do this alot to people. Below is proof of my car rental since y'all are trying to say I didn't rent
I also have video of me speaking to your staff after the car was broken along side texts to prove I rented and proof of a police report stating that the car was damaged.

If I could leave 0 stars I would!! I rented from this place bc it was the only place open when I needed a car. They charged me over $800 for a car that was tore up. The radio was hanging out of the dash. The side of the driver seat was ripped apart. When I saw the condition of the vehicle I immediately told them I just wanted a refund and I would rent from somewhere else. They refused to give me a refund stating that their contract states they don’t give refunds. How convenient to have people sign a contract before allowing them to see the condition of your vehicles. I ended up taking the car and not even driving it other than to home and back to them when I returned it. I have been waiting a week for them to refund my deposit. They stated I didn’t return a car charger which there wasn’t one in the vehicle at all. These people are liars, scammers and have the absolute worst customer service. I will be pursuing legal action if my deposit is not refunded. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!

Update they did finally refund my security deposit.

Worst car rental service ever. My sister rented a car from them initially for just the weekend. She was charged $170 a piece a day for 2 or 3 extra days. When came to return car the place was closed so she put the key in the area that was designated and sent picture. 2 weeks later they refunded only $154 out of a $250 deposit. Meanwhile the refund is pending right when it cleared they voided the transaction and it got sent back to them and out my account. My sister called multiple times acquiring about the receipt for the refund amount and the so called manager just asks clueless like she doesn't speak English or understand what my sister was asking for. Mind you my sister spent $1,000+ just to put up with a rental with all types of dents, scratches, and the radio wouldn't even stay down. When we received the rental no gas was in it and it just wasn't professionally presentable. But til this very day the manager hasn't proposed anything to try to make the situation right and it's just overall bad business. My sister only went to them because of cash deposit and cashapp payment accepted , this was rental where you just "put up with it" because it's "convenient at the time."

i don’t understand why this place has 4 out of 5 stars..

i went to this place due to the cheap prices.

we finish the process, and as soon as i see the car, i see the inside was all tore up. spent $600 on a car where the seat was torn & the radio was hanging out.
i asked for my $ back bc paying that much for the raggedy car wasn’t worth it.

i asked for a refund & they refused and now a week after returning the vehicle i'm still waiting for my deposit.

they also have the worst customer service!!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I paid for my sister a rental car tonight so she could come get me, not even 5 miles after leaving lot the car started to mess up, engine light, revving extremely high so she pulled off and then the car didn’t want to crank. Eventually she made it back to car lot called the lady, she said that it wasn’t her problem then blocked her number. Had to call the cops because I PAID 510 overall including deposit to rent that car for her & she couldn’t even make it 5 miles. We have all the proof we need from videos and pics. Also let a repair note on the summary and shows where they charged me for things they shouldn’t have. I will be calling tomorrow & getting money back! They are scammers so beware!! I needed to come home to take my kid to doctor and these people knew they were giving her a messed up car.

Empire Car Rental is the best! As soon as I walked up to the desk I was greeted by very friendly staff. I received excellent customer service and the fact that I could use CashApp to pay made me decide that they will be my one stop car rental service from now on. Goodbye Enterprise Rental!
