Wilkinson left our family home they were managing in really bad condition. Up until recently they kept tenants in our family property and it was poorly taken cared of. You'd think a property management company would do inspections in between tenants and report what needs fixing along with pictures, the past 15 yrs no news have been shared unless the renters let Wilkinson know things around the house were broken and then they'd notify us. Now that we have our house back, we're finding that it's in bad condition and so many things need repairing. Had inspections been made in between, we would've kept up with the maintenance. Hire them if you choose so, but be aware you're going to have to be in communication with them and follow up with them to make sure they're doing their job. With the last renters we had, we told them to raise the rent rate and they told us to expect the rent check to be different after the expected month. The expected month comes and the rent check is the same amount, we had to follow up with them again and wait even longer to get the requested amount because they still hadn't notified the renters that the rent was going up. Our family has a second property with them owned by a different family member and I'm trying to convince that family member to hire a different property manager because who knows what condition that house is in now so my suggestion is to ask them a lot of questions if you're considering having them manage your property and if they can't meet your expectations, go with a better company.
