Literally the best place to live! The infestation of mice and roaches is nice if you like having unsuspected visitors! They have a wonderful laundry room with 2 dryers/washers for more than 50 tenants. ( one of the dryers works exceptionally well, so we’ll that your clothes are all wet!)The elevator is always down and when it’s working it sounds like it’s about to break down again reminds me of my favorite roller coaster. we even have a mud garden in the middle of the sidewalk where the garage trucks come in and out of! What a sight !!! And it’s a 2 for one deal! Because during the winter months they throw water and they let it freeze so have your skates handy! They are so considerate that they have yet to fix up the hall ways and the inside of the building in general but they now are offering storage space for a great price !!!!!! They are also super concerned for your safety and it shows because there are no cameras in the stairway or on each floor but they have cameras on the first floor! Management team are experts at customer care that when you call the first thing Nicole says is “management” like she’s working for free, what’s the good in greeting someone who contributes to your paycheck! Fair bridge commons is the place to beeeeeee

I've lived at Fairbridge Commons almost 2 years. Of course we had minor problems when we first moved in, all which have been taken care of as soon as I made the call or filled out a Maintenance ticket. The App is a wonderful way of communicating with the Staff as well who are polite & friendly. The Maintenance workers keep the grounds pretty clean of garbage, they sweep, mop hallways & the elevators. These Apartments are close to Bus lines, schools, stores & downtown Bridgeport. No complaints! Fairbridge Commons Staff & Maintenance, you are doing a terrific job! Thank you for making this place nice to live in!

The maintenance worker is great. But unfortunately that's the only good thing I say about this building. Landlords work hard to keep your security deposit. They'll delay or ignore any problems. No security and car break ins in the garage. They'll aim for people on section 8 cause they're the easiest to take advantage of.

I undoubtedly wish there was an option to give the most minimal rating the world could possibly offer. I only spent 6 months living under the less than ideal conditions that this management tries to brush under the rug as normal. With issues ranging from pests, which were hardly ever controlled, to elevators not functioning DAILY (Imagine carrying groceries to the 4-6th floor!) Nothing compares to the putrid smell of urine radiating from the staircase that I was forced to use almost every single day. The most frustrating part of my experience was dealing with the circus this place calls a management team! If you’re lucky enough to get your call answered, you’re given the usual “We’ll have someone check it out right away!” Which in turn means, we’ll have you wait weeks for supportive service and wait for you to call back. The receptionists, the management, all the way down to the maintenance crew are repulsively rude and dismissive of issues that could easily be their own. I frequently purchased my own pest control supplies which actually alleviated the issues compared to the dollar tree supplies maintenance provided, and informed management that I would deduct that from my rent. THAT is when they get back to you in no time screaming “You can’t do that, it’s against our policy!” God forbid it’s the holiday season and you are a day late on your rent, you’ll have enough letters stuck under your door to start a fire! I have never been so unsettled and bothered, moving to this place had to be one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made! I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who is seeking a comfortable place to call home, support from management, or a safe space for your children considering the unmatched level of drug abuse and homeless patrons sleeping inside the buildings. Stay clear of this place, any other option tops this one by a long shot!

It has improved over the past few months. Maintenance team is great and polite. They come right away when have any issues needing to be addressed.

If I could give no stars that would be better! Moved in during the day so you couldn’t tell the horrors that awaited you at night and all summer between the shootings drugs and crackheads it is horrible my husband does construction and plugged all the holes over the whole apartment to not get mice! They are infested and they do minimal work as to not have a high out of pocket cost! We went from December to March with no hot water having to boil water! Because they finally fixed it the owners who are disgusting sneaky people decided that you have to pay now before the 10th! Even tho you pay the late fee he wants money before the 10 or he sends notices to quit and then charges you 50 dollars more! They are money hungry when most of the tenants have programs! We paid cash!!! He then tells me ask your employer for an advance so I ignored him I go to pay rent he sends me a notice to quit we resolve it I pay and behind my back send a housing eviction so by now I’m disgusted and am looking for another place my lease is up May 1 so I move for May 1st he drops the evictions but today I get a call he sent me to collections and forfeited my deposit! All because he knew he had no case he messed with the wrong one because now I will take him to court for harassment!!! Stay away CHI/shy however u want to call him is deceitful and if u do then keep all your receipts

I love it here. To have heat and hot water included in my monthly rent is a blessing. Yes, the elevators are old! they do break down. I really love the maintenance man in my building who keeps the floors and elevator clean. the manager works with me.

I have been living here since 2010 and I’m not sure what people are complaining about. Yes there were some issues with hot water but the management got on it immediately and installed a new hot water system (g-d bless them the hot water now is amazing). They also always keep us updated if they will be doing upgrades and how long it will take.
The office staff are also really nice and if I ever have a maintenance issue it gets resolved quickly. I always refer my friends from church to fairbridge commons and feel blessed to live here.
