It was great working with Carlos and his Interos organization. Clearly he and his team have it all together. Carlos was extremely organized and thorough. He made sure I understood the market dynamics, interest, rate impact, as well as potential buyer dynamics.
The initial meeting was very professional, followed by a market assessment, a thorough plan to sell my property as well as a view of historical timelines for my type of unit as well as other homes in the area. There’s nothing more terrifying than putting your home on the market in a tumultuous and unpredictable market where nothing is guaranteed, buyers have the upper hand, and contractors who do a great job for a fair price are few and far inbetween. Fortunately for us, Carlos, who came very highly recommended from several family members (yes several!) ensured that during every step of the home selling process was stress and headache free. He made the whole thing such a hands-off process for us—literally hands-off since we had recently moved to another city. Making a 3 hour round trip back and forth with a young child and a puppy while juggling renovations in both the new home we just purchased and the home we were putting on the market and having to manage the selling would have been a nightmare without Carlos’ help. Being sensitive to our out-of-town situation, Carlos fluidly adapted to our needs and handled 90% of items over Zoom and executed everything without a single hitch. He adeptly walked us through the process of selling, drumming up buyer interest, and prepared us for what to expect from a constantly fluctuating market based upon his extensive experience.

Given the current state of the economy and knowing that we were apprehensive on doing a major renovation, Carlos thoroughly educated us on items we could focus on updating and things we could forgo that would help bring down costs for us and maximize profit. Even though Carlos was clearly the expert in the housing market and he always confidently provided his analysis on what our renovation focus points should be in this particular market (ie: economy and neighborhood), he always reiterated that he would support whatever decisions we made that worked for our budget.

Another great quality that Carlos possesses which I had heard multiple times from my family members that he previously worked with is that his keen attention to detail is unmatched. This was confirmed through my personal experience with him and it proved to be invaluable with such a high stakes and deeply personal transaction. I felt completely safe in his hands and knew he would do everything in his power to generate the greatest return by empowering us to make smart and timely decisions. His cheerful can-do-it attitude also really put us at ease throughout the entire process. I can’t stress enough how kind of a person Carlos is.
