I would have never thought that buying a house and have a realtor by the name of Mr. Smith to pull a scam with a deed by adding a family member on to the deed and then put his seal on it because he's an license "Notary Republic". Once I caught wind of this scam, I reported it to the State of Alabama Real Estate Commission "Mr K.Baldwin" and were treated as if I was the one that done wrong. I sent Mr K. Baldwin evidence where it clearly shows where fraud had taking place and after been told he don't believe Mr Smith will do something like this. Mr Baldwin denied my several request to speak with his supervisor and denied my claim. How can you have faith in a system like this if their job was to protect homebuyers from fraud and scams by Realtors like the one I have. Something needs be done, and I pray this hasn't happen to anyone else that may not have caught on to their scheme. I have yet to received a call or notice from his supervisor. I will be taking this to court and hopefully we can expose any wrong doing that might save someone this pain and ransom of paying $3200 to have someone else name added to a deed that was not suppose to.

The ARC and other similar state boards may want to consider quotas such as the restrictions on number of taxi licenses in the city of New York City and other metropolitan areas. Fewer real estate licenses might be a reasonable issued to new people hoping to obtain real estate licenses. I feel like the system is not based on merit but feel the public is pressured into selecting a realtor based on personality or persuading factors. Also realtors often hide information from prospective buyers in the attempt to keep valuation high and pressure prospective buyers. It is irritating as a prospective buyer to see 2 listings for the same property online and for too few photos or similar photos showing the same thing or failing to show bathroom or backyard photos. If realtors don't want to be more effective than they might as well be forthcoming.
