I am so blessed and lucky to live a 2 min drive to the ocean! (Leadbetter beach!! ) 🏖️. The management here is always available for me anytime I need! I can also walk downtown to the funk zone in 15 min!!

My roommate and I loved our time at BV. Any issues regarding maintenance were dealt with within 24 hours and the landlord was easy to get in touch with. We had a spacious living space and a balcony with a beautiful view. It was quiet, within walking distance to SBCC, and in a great area. Thank you for having us!

My daughter has lived here for her first year out of the house and I felt very safe having her live here. The owner's living on site contribute to this and when ever there were maintenance issues, they were dealt with in 24 hours if not immediately. The exterior site maintenance is poor but the actual apartment was nice inside. I've lived in SB for 40 years and I would recommend this place. Not a party palace like the institution across the street.

Me and my wife were residents of apartment 219 for 2 years. We had a great time, and the landlord Stefan was very fair and courteous. Contrary to posts here, the land lord did give me back a fair portion of my deposit and the amount taken was clearly justified. I appreciated my time living here, the landlords honestly/friendliness and the staff was very competent.

This is a wonderful place to live especially if you're a student at SBCC. Every time I have spoken with the apartment managers they are very accommodating and it's clear they are trying to do their best to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. During my 2 year stay in this apartment complex I've had no issues that couldn't be resolved with their help. Aside from the experienced management and being walking distance from SBCC, this place also provides a nice pool area for when you need to get away from life and just relax; the beach is walking distance too but I'm personally more of a pool person. A couple changes that I would've liked to see during my stay was an update of the mail boxes because they seemed antiquated to me, and maybe a little cleaner of a dumpster area. Yet these can hardly be described as impediments. Thank you Buena Vista Apartments for being understanding, and providing me with a safe place to live and grow as a young college student. Needless to say, I highly recommend anyone to live here because it has everything you'll need and are looking for.

I've stayed here for almost two and a half years non concurrently. It's very quiet for being so close to Santa Barbara City College. The landlords are responsive and helpful. The apartments I have lived in here are far nicer and more functional than other apartments I have rented in the area. The bus stops at the end of the driveway. The beach is a ten minute walk. It's a great place for good students, and working professionals.

I lived in Buena Vista apartments for a year in 1995/1996 as an international student of SBCC.
The manager at that time was a mean person, that made me and the person I was sharing the apartment with very uneasy around him.
The apartments are old and the only good things about the complex is that it is peaceful and close to SBCC campus.
Also, as far as my deposit goes, as I was leaving the country after I left the apartment, the manager assured me he would mail the check... I'm still waiting for the money after all these years.
