Not rented with them only went through application.

You'd think it's cute that they only do walk-in applications, but consider that their rental app is literally a photo copy that is not even centered... you're going to run into problems. And they make your print multiple pages on YOUR dime.

When I visited, there was a tenant who was engaged in a conversation with two of the staff about how they never notified him about raising his rent. That was enough for me.

I wish I would have read more reviews before even applying for a property managed by this company. After my horrific experience, reading what other people have said, it is my strong recommendation not to even talk to this company or look at any of their properties. I have never been dealt with or spoken too with such disrespect. I make good money, have had many good rental experiences in my years and it seemed from the get go that the lady at the office was determined to make my life difficult. She was delighted to pepper our conversation with insults right from the beginning and treated me as totally incompetent. I applied to several different management companies and this was the only one who treated me this way. Don’t even bother with them. In my opinion, I don’t know why this company is still in business and if you end up renting from them you will be entering Into a nightmare you thought only existed in horror films.

We had no previous history of rental before renting through Property Management and seemed to have a hard time to find rent. The people at Property Management helped us through. We have just moved out after renting the property through them for 6 years. People that work there were quick to respond and help sort out with the owners any issues we have had . After all these 6 years I cannot say I complain about anything. At one point we have actually been rewarded with a really nice quality steak for being good tenants. The company is willing to go an extra mile when you are responsible enough to discuss any issues beforehand. We did have to replace what we broke in the house and really, really clean the place when moving out, but the company did refund us our deposit entirely as promised. Although it is important to understand what lies in the power of owner and what is the company's responsibility and do a very, very thorough walk through before moving in (which is what the company advises too)
We feel like this company was a part of our family and if we ever have to rent again, we will most definitely deal with them again with pleasure.

I really caution people about renting through this company. I wrote a review of my experience a few years ago anonymously (I'm 88krich) and because these reviews are meant to help people decide who to rent from, I feel it's important to reply to a "review" written directly to me. John Sullivan called my review a lie and said I actually trashed my apartment, that I had pets and that my apartment was never remodeled. Mr. Sullivan has me confused with someone else. I'm not certain whether this John is the same person who took care of the rental unit I was in or not, so I don't know why he thinks he knows who I am or what unit I rented (my name is not 88krich, as attractive a name as that is). Never in my review did I mention which apartment I rented, and he assumed it was on Abbey Way. Definitely not the apartment I rented. I got my entire deposit back because the apartment had no damage, and was in better shape than when I moved in. But he wrote a review stating that I had dogs and carpet and that there was no remodel. So, to set things straight, there was an apartment that was being remodeled by John (don't know his last name), who was the maintenance worker for that particular unit that I rented. The unit, having been remodeled, had laminate flooring, so I could not have messed up a carpet because there was no carpet. I was not allowed to have pets, so there were not pets in the unit. Again, I got my full deposit back, so clearly, I did not trash the apartment like he says, and clearly, he has no idea who I am or what apartment I rented. The window above the sink was brand new, vinyl window, and it was indeed put in upside down, the rental company was aware and unconcerned about it. I'm not saying slanderous things to be nasty, I'm saying them because this is what I experienced with this company. The reason I reviewed again is because I feel that it's important to set things straight. Putting a five star review to skew the overall rating of this company so that you, someone clearly connected with the company in question, can slander a reviewer is utterly wrong. The complete lack of professionalism displayed here is, frankly, alarming.

We rented from this two bit company and was lied, cheated and had to hire an attorney to get out of the mice infested house at 1803 E Park Lane. They not only lied about having AC we never received a copy of the lease. They don't make copies at their office. No wonder rodents are mentioned in the lease - obviously a problem this house had before. There were mice in the cabinets, on the counters, and I had to put towels underneath my bedroom door to try and keep the mouse out. Little good that did. I had a broom in the kitchen to kill the mice and I turned around one afternoon and there was a mouse in our dog's water bowl. I could go on about this company, but won't bother. I even spoke to an employee and she verified the meanest people one could work with. They wanted my son's money which was over $5,000 so the lies were flying. The trees were not trimmed, grass not edged and my son and I had to do it all. I have pictures of everything - moving in and moving out. Worse company I have ever dealt with. I come from California where professional conduct is taken quite serious. Watch out people these people are horrifying, don't know their jobs or the description written for their houses. Run don't walk when it comes to the lousy company. BTW, there was a water leak when we moved it and it wasn't fixed for four months which is against Idaho landlord/tenant laws. It should have been repaired in three days. Email after email and no response. The house is literally on a pile dirty where obviously the rodent problem is coming from. Even the owner of the house which seemed nice but told me how important AC was to us. Hmmm.... wonder why he would say that? Darlene Berry told me the owner didn't have a pot to piss in - so because they lied about the AC - she had cheap, loud ac machines put in the two bedrooms. So loud one couldn't sleep and put in so lose someone try to get in by pushing the downstairs one in. Awful experience with the group. Including the owner - he would say anything to keep all that money my son paid to move into a mice, rat, infested dump.

I rented from this company a few years ago. It was my very first apartment, and when I went to look at it, it was being remodeled. Well, when I moved in, the remodel had just been finished. The place was a disaster: Plaster dust everywhere, tools everywhere, a giant hole in the wall and, get this, the guy who had done the remodel had put the window above the sink in UPSIDE DOWN so it wouldn't open. My dad had co-signed the lease for me, and so he called the PMIG and had them fix it, all except the window, to which the owner chuckled and said, "That's John (the maintenance man)." A few months later, I was going to Georgia for Christmas, and mailed in my money order (they don't accept checks) a couple of weeks early. It never arrived at PMIG. When I returned to Idaho, I got a call from the owner of the company (Darlene, I think her name was) asking where my rent was. I told her I had mailed it in and she said she'd never received it and served me an eviction notice on the spot, telling me that I had three days to come up with the money or I would be evicted. As anyone who has ever had a money order knows, it takes banks two weeks to cancel them. I informed the lady this and she said she insisted I find the money. In tears, I called my dad, who in turn called the lady and tried to reason with her. She became angry and told him in no uncertain terms that she wouldn't budge. So, I went in the next day with money from my dad to pay rent. When I went in, the owner took my money and informed me that I should "handle these things like an adult and not have my angry dad call her and fight my battles for me." My dad had cosigned on the lease. He had every right to call her and talk to her. Needless to say, I did not renew my contract with them and have been careful about who I rent from ever since.

This is in response to the review below; Mr. Thomas, I realize that you were upset when we hired a property management company, but to put false reviews online can make you liable for a law suite. I had no choice but to hire a company to manage since you were behind on your rent and moved unauthorized people into my home, not only more people but you also had 4 unauthorized dogs and 6 unauthorized cats, and the place was filthy, not to mention that you also took my wood burning stove and of course you did not get your deposit back, you breached your lease and you still owe for rents and damages. I really hope that you do not do this to anyone else.
