We had such a great stay at a PowerWest 1 bedroom condo at Seascape Resort in Aptos, CA. The staff was super friendly and very responsive to emails. We loved having an ocean view while hanging out on the deck in the mornings and evenings. It was nice to have a kitchenette to put together simple meals while enjoying the beach and scenery around us. We look forward to coming back again soon, thank you!

We rented the ocean front 2 bedroom villa from power west. The property and the views were gorgeous. It had all the amenities needed for a staycation. The support staff from powerwest were proactively helpful from the start till the end of our stay. Will definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone planning for a beautiful
beachside staycation.

You are always prompt in handling emergency situation and attend to all my clients needs. I am thankful for all your support. I finally was able to get a hold of someone after a month. 2 unprofessional phone calls. The first phone call, the woman said hello in a confused tone then I proceeded to say I was interested in a property and she went silent then hung up. Next phone call the woman did not sound like she was representing a company at all. Rude, dry and uninterested.
Is this a real company or a scam Anyone have real experience, please enlighten.

I called them on 11/30/20 about a home to rent in Santa Cruz. I told her my income and that I have an ESA animal and she stated she'd send over photos and video of the home as they're not touring it just yet(no indication if she was taking applications but I said I'd like to apply)

Tuesday 12/1/20, I texted and said I saw the photos on the Craigslist listing and I'd love to apply for the home and to let me know when I can do so. I got a text saying "Ill send over a video later today" and that was it.

Wednesday 12/2/20, I got an email from her stating the owners took an application and have tentatively approved the applicants. I was never given a opportunity to apply nor was I told they were even accepting applications.

I was frustrated and disappointed. I responded to the email and I even offered to pay $200 MORE per month than what they were asking for rent. Instead, she emailed me saying NOW I can apply and should the first applicants not get approved then I can potentially rent the home otherwise I'd get my app fee back. I responded saying I'm not going to apply if they've already tentatively approved another applicant. Additionally, she said that she'd check with staff about other properties they may have available. If I didn't get to apply or even be considered for this home, why would they consider me for others and receive $2,500+ a month from me?

This situation came off as extremely unprofessional and disingenuous. On at least two occasions over two days, I said I'd like to apply and was never given the chance to do so for reasons that I will never be given. I had indicated my rental history was flawless, my income is more than sufficient(I told her my salary) and my credit score is very good.

Had she said on Monday, "we already have people APPLYING" I would've left it at that - but she said they had to figure out how to tour the home with the COVID situation and that she'd let me know when I can move forward to apply and/or tour the home.
