Bay Property Management is hands down the best property management company in Monterey county. If your looking to rent a place they should be your first, and only stop. I'm a long time tenant of theirs and I couldn't be happier with this company. I have never had a bad experience while renting from them, not once. I've dealt with both, their Salinas office and their Soledad office, when I was living down in South county. The girls at the front desks at both offices are super helpfull, and friendly. Their application proccess is fast and very easy. They are quick to respond to questions and issues. When I had electrical issues at a previous house I was renting from them, they were VERY quick to respond to me and they sent an awesome electrician out that same day and he was able to figure out and fix all the issues I had in less than an hour, just awesome, compared to a different property management company, who will remain nameless here, that I've rented from that took almost 2 weeks to send someone out to replace my dead water heater, that's a LONG time to have to take cold showers. The professionalism of this company is top notch, it blows me away, and the owner, Gail, is absolutely wonderful, she is very knowledgeable, friendly and just a true professional. She does whatever she can to personally resolve any issues that may arise, and she's willing to work with you when moving out so that you can get most, if not all, of your deposit back, unless you totally trash the place. She goes above and beyond to make sure your satisfied with everything. I can't say enough good things about them, truely a great company. I highly recommend them, definitely check them out if your looking for a place to rent, I guarantee you will be happy if you rent from them.

I applied for a property, and was told that applications where going to be reviewed this week and today was a Monday. Monday evening the posting was taken down, and I call again and it was not available anymore. I asked them how they choose the applications, they told me they only see 5-10, if those don’t work out then they see the rest. So no yours will not get reviewed, it is not an equal opportunity. The application was a waste of money.

I had applied other places and typically y receive a copy in my email of the background check they have done, I didn’t for them. They didnt even do a background check!

The owner-Broker- Gail.. is an unprofessional person. I have left her numerous vm’s and she has not returned one c/b. She had her receptionist cx my apt w/her, last minute. I returned keys Aug 15, 2018 and still to date I have not recieved my deposit back. This whole company including the owner lacks customer service skills. The women at the South county office are very rude and unprofessional. I DO Not recommend anyone to rent from this company. South Monterey county knows about this company’s reputation! LOOK elsewhere to rent, unless you want this company to keep your deposit and some.. so they can fix their OLD homes and get them ready for their next VICTIM!
