Cypress point has been a wonderful place to stay. They allow pets to stay stay within the homes and allow more than one to stay with you. They do a great job at keeping the area nice and trimmed by having a grounds crew come by weekly. The pool and gym are clean and well maintained. The management team and staff are always hard at work and friendly, making sure this place is the best is can be. Sometimes the washer or dryers get out of order at all areas of the apartment complex for a long period. But they eventually get fixed and management sends out updates to keep the tenants informed. Overall, the team does a great job to be there for the tenants and making sure everything is in working order.

AVOID THIS PLACE

SEWER BACKS UP ONTO YOUR SHOWER FLOOR, trees are NOT maintained and FALL ON APARTMENT AND CARS and HOTEL STAYS FOR THIS ISSUE (when cypress point management personally evacuates you for your safety) ARE NOT COVERED, walls are wet against civil code and are MOLDY, you will be forced to pay for the electricity for their faulty apartment reparations, they try to bait and switch you with apartments, Leilani (assistant manager) harasses and aims to bully tenants, the whole bathroom smells like sewer even with the fan constantly running, and apartment floods often.

1. On MULTIPLE occasions there was a clogged pipe and CHUNKS of content from the toilet (toilet paper, feces, urine) would appear on our bathroom floor. Photos attached.*** The tenant before us left for the same issue and we were not made aware we would have this issue. It’s disgusting and unacceptable, management is slow to respond and you’re left cleaning poop off your floor during midterm week.
2. The apartment is extremely vulnerable to flooding. Due to the rains, the roots of a large tree loosened causing it to fall on our apartment and we were evacuated for our safety. *Photos attached* I was told to leave by management and they refused to cover my hotel stay. They tried to trick me into thinking it was supposed to be covered by my renters insurance which is not true, but they try to fool students.
3. The walls get wet and potentially moldy due to poor waterproofing and they installed 3 large and LOUD dehumidifiers inside my bedroom. I was forced to sleep next to them as they refused to cover a hotel stay, and I had to personally cover the cost. With the hotel stay as well as the electricity bill for THEIR DEHUMIDIFIERS, I lost over $850. This noise was on for 7 days, 24 hours a day.
4. Leilani is extremely aggressive and wants to bully the tenants into shutting up. She does not know how to resolve conflict, when all I asked is that she give me updates on when I could return to my apartment after the tree fell onto it.
5. They will show you one apartment repeatedly (we saw a renovated one THREE TIMES) and when moving in say it’s unavailable and try to force you into a far more run down apartment instead as you’re already stuck in a lease
All in all, for the ATROCIOUS price you are paying, the management is greedy is does not care about you or your well being. I filed MULTIPLE complaints to both Florina (manager) and Leilani (assistant manager) and printed and emailed dozens of letters voicing my concerns and complaints for my safety and health. The conditions are awful and disgusting, believe the reviews.

We moved into a beautiful renovated upstairs , 1 bedroom apartment at Cypress Point, a little over 10 years ago.
We like the in-town location ; making shopping & going to the beach very convenient. We enjoy the amenities, pool & gym, plus it's friendly community. Being that it is a pet friendly property & with lagoon acesseabilty makes it a awesome place to call home.

Nothing but good things to say about Cypress Point Apts. A special shout out to Matt, who was amazing to work with when I was applying as well as move-in. He has remained helpful and attentive with any needs that may arise. The grounds are well kept and neighbors have been great. Very good experience and place to live. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Matt, grounds folks and all who make Cypress Point feel like a great place for me to call home.

Cypress Point has always been at the top of our list during our search for an apartment. Matt, who works in the leasing office is outstanding! I can’t comment on living there, however toured this property twice to narrow down our choice and was accommodated with a welcoming and kind attitude. I’ve looked at 14 different properties in the past two weeks and I can tell you this leasing office and Matt exceeded all expectations. It’s important that you have leasing agents that are considerate, kind and compassionate about their job and the people who are interested in the property. Matt showed us multiple units and on the second appointment knew exactly what we wanted and what location we would love and nailed it! Matt should train other leasing agents and I’m not kidding! Thank you Matt and thank you Cypress Point.
