We decided to purchase at Gale Ranch in San Ramon, and found James searching for an Agent that
provides buyer rebates. This was during the middle of the pandemic, and James got a fair deal
for us on the second home we looked at. James communicated well with the lender, the Listing
Agent, and us throughout. There are certain things that we, as buyers, are used to doing
ourselves these days, like finding the property we want to purchase online. James was clear
that since we did the initial footwork of finding the property we wanted to purchase on our
own, he would provide a rebate when the home closed. We saved him time on the initial search,

While doing an internet search for a low-cost Listing Agent to sell my home in Hayward California I found James Smith. He claimed to offer the traditional brokerage services at considerable discount. This included, but was not limited to, holding Open Houses, negotiating with the buyer’s agent and coordinating the escrow.
James came over to look at my house and we talked about the sale. I found him to be very knowledgeable of the business and the trends in the market. He convinced me that I would not be sorry doing business with him. As it turns out, I was not. I even asked him sometime later to help me buy a house in Elk Grove, even though it was far from Hayward.
I found James to be patient, realistic, personable and honest. His communication was open and consistent even when the news wasn’t good. I have bought 6 houses and sold 5 so am familiar with real estate agents. But I don’t think you will find an agent better than James Smith.
