I love the Bartram trail and hike portions of it about twice a week with my dog. Recently there was a fallen tree blocking a portion of the trail. I reported it at the ranger station and when I hiked it again 10 days later it was much improved. Many thanks to those who help preserve this beautiful forest.

Quiet place during February to get away. Forest were clean and well maintained besides the occasional trash left by the litter bugs. I would visit again.

Nice quiet night camping. Most of the dispersed sites were taken when I arrived about 6pm. But I snagged one of the last ones. Roads aren't bad but high clearance is useful in a few places.

Ranger was super nice. Bring your own water. We didn't see a great deal of wildlife but it didn't slow down our fun. We paddled around the pond in our canoe. The campsites were clean and there wasn't any trash around at all. Free to camp and hike with many many geocaches. Visit the fire tower but do not climb. There is a store near by with fuel, ice, and conveniences. Tuskeegee National...... we had a good time, thank you.

I just have to give a big shout out to whoever takes care of this place. Hardly any trash anywhere. Pack it in pack it out. This place is fantastic!!!

This place is disgusting. Trash everywhere. The people here must be just as trashy, they have covered this park in beer bottles, liquor bottles, shotgun shells, and broken glass. Seriously, get this place cleaned up and prosecute anyone who pollutes. Perhaps it would help to charge a fee to enter the park, that would keep the trashy folks from ruining this place. This is what we do with our parks in Auburn, which are beautiful and clean. As it stands this a a trash dump/pine forest.

Nicely representative of Alabama natural habitat but very primitive. Difficult to navigate roads based on printed maps. Visitors center was clean with good information available even though closed while we there. Nice fishing ponds. We will probably do day use hiking and picnic however for a location for a spring weekend tent camp I believe we will look elsewhere.

I stop here whenever I have to take my dog (not pictured) to the vet on Tuskegee's campus.
