If you’re searching for a new place to live and you see Utopia Property on the listing, just go ahead and keep searching. This management company is HORRIBLE to work with. You pay to get your credit run, possibly multiple times, just for them to request sooo many documents and unnecessary references. I was waiting for them to request a birth certificate from me next. All to take over a week to “review my application” and then ultimately deny me even though I met every criteria that was asked to rent the apartment I applied for. My credit score is way above what they were asking for. But they listed the reason for me not being approved as “based on information obtained from credit report”. Absolutely ridiculous. It was a huge waste of time and money. They even had me pay $30 to do a pet screening although they were not intending on renting the place to me. The practices of this company are immoral and crooked. Find a different house with a different property management company or owner listed if you’re actually looking to move. These people are not helpful at all.
