We love the Casa Coventry house! It is an amazing rental we use twice a year. The owners do an amazing job of keeping the property cleab and up to date, which is not the norm for rentals in my experience. The sun room is my favorite part, being able to sit with the windows open and read a book while taking in the ocean views is so peaceful. We also love being able to cook in the kitchen and eat breakfast on the patio or enjoy a family dinner at least once per trip. It is only 2 minutes from downtown, the moonstone boardwalk and many tidepools which gives us so many activities. We can’t wait for our next trip and to keep the tradition of our family trip to Cambria at the same house.

Great people, very helpful and care about making the stay a great experience. The Van Gogh Villa is a wonderful spot. Great living space and completely remodeled with top end counters, floors, and furniture.

l have been Going to Scenic Coast property. I have been renting places from them in Cambria. During the years I have used other property places I was lucky enough to find them. They have always been helpful and friendly. One of the main things is that they have two cleaning people who clean their properties and they're absolutely perfect. Every property that I have been that was clean by these two people was great. The people take great pride in the properties that they rent and have a great attention for detail. It is very important dealing with irritating things. Keep up the good work. See you soon

Check out their tack-on fees. $200+ per night VRBO rental adding $155 per night for "host" and "admin" fees.
This is the way to kill the rental market.
There are much more reasonable holiday rentals in the area without the third-party gouging.

Rented the Music House for the month of April. Only stayed one week as infested with mice, even in and on the beds in the three bedrooms. Scenic was not very helpful. We couldn't stay there because of the health hazard and Scenic never offered help with another property. Wrote a very negative review of the property and it has never appeared. Maybe they only put positives on. They did refund us our money and also brought some ant poison we requested (yes also ants and much more).

The rental we just checked out of had a lot of charm, an amazing view of the ocean, and a wonderful hot tub that was new, for $2400 for 6 days I was looking forward to a nice home with great views, the staff at the management office was expecting us and was more than friendly, I noticed through reading the contract we are expected to keep the home clean, sadly when I reached the home the dishes were due for an immediate wash and the charcoal grill had reminenantce from the last user. Sitting in the family room I was saddened that who ever cleaned the home had decided not to dust the shades so my asthma loved breathing that in, pretty dissapointed, I know someone spent a lot of times putting little notes for us and had great details for us to use in the home, loved the binoculars, but I'm positive the person who spent the time putting all the little details in the house was not the same person who half assed cleaning the home. Continuing on to day 2 I was awaken in the middle of the night by the co2 alarm which was producing an error message, great start to day 2,[on day 3 the alarm did the same thing so I decided to disconnect it] the upstairs loft was nice, 1 problem, the water was leaking from it and we had a visit from the city asking us to shut off the water until the owners could fix it. So all around not the best experience I also I wish I had taken on the splintering floor. Boards in the living room and the scrapes on the wall in the upstairs den, for 2400 for 6 days I was really disappointed and I wish I had a chance to tell the team when the keys were turned in, any other facility I would have hoped for some kind of compensation.
