If I could give these lazy folks a 1 star, I would. They are the absolute worst when it comes to communication and handling of any concern. It’s like they secretly hate each other the way they don’t communicate amongst each other regarding their residents. These people do not care about anyone but themselves hence why their reputation is dragged through the mud. I urge any potential resident regardless of their concession, if you want a peaceful living environment, stay far away from Stuart Mesa Housing or Liberty Housing in general.

I've only been here for less than three months, and thus far, I haven't had a pleasant experience. I feel like they’re scamming people of their money. I filled my application early March for housing with the idea i will have a concession check of $1000. When I get there May 1st I was told since I was not physically move in the house during month of April, I can only receive $600 monthly as a part of their new deal they have for the month of May. Today I went to the office to receive the check ($600)for the month of June. I was told by the front office since I officially moved to my house on May 3rd I was not eligible to receive the money for June which doesn’t make any sense because I was waiting on them to get the house ready. How can you take my full BAH for the month but I’m not qualified for the concession for that month?

Before signing a lease make sure you purchase a UV light and and annotate EVERY stain in your walkthrough. They charged us $600 to completely replace the carpet and for an odor barrier even though our dogs weren’t allowed upstairs. Turns out the carpet we had was about 2 years old, and the previous residents had dogs too. They are an absolute joke, take your business off base.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LIVE ELSE WHERE. I’ve lived at this place for 3 years. All they want is your money! They will charge you for damages that were there upon moving in. They’ll tell you everything is good and all the issues was written down, but upon moving out they’ll tell you there wasn’t any report documented for those issues. They will rip you off. Also, even if you clean everything and pass white glove inspection they’ll they you that things are dirty and that they need to hire professionals to come in to clean it. THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING TO MAKE SURE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY!! STAY AWAY!

I’d give this place a zero if I could. Been there for two years and they continuously lower the amount they give back with the concession checks.

They talk about move in incentives but they don’t do anything in regards to retention incentives and trying to keep people residing there, just keep upping the rent year after year.
Now that there is going to be an increase in BAH, they’re getting even more money from the residents and still shafting the residents.

To anyone thinking about moving in there, don’t. Take that BAH, use the VA home loan and invest in yourselves.

I am finally writing this long over due review. PLEASE read your entire lease word for word and get everything in writing otherwise nothing you say will be taken seriously. If BAH goes higher you will not see the difference, therefore it would be best to only sign a lease with a flat rate otherwise if the BAH goes up you will never see that difference and the money they get isn’t even used to improve the quality of living for military families houses. We never have hot water and the plumbing in these houses is horrible. Along with these houses being filled with mold. It’s extremely disappointing and frustrating to see how much this company does not care about what families actually need. We have had various bad experiences with both Lincoln Military housing and now Liberty housing. We had to get a military government advocate involved just to be able to get a response on our lease renewal and I truly wish we would not have renewed. If you take off work to be home for their needs/inspections etc sometimes they don’t show up even if you have an appointment and pretty much don’t acknowledge you had one and reschedule or possibly show up. There is staples coming out of the carpet we have asked housing multiple times with several tickets to come fix and it’s been months with no help. Along with the “wooden” floor coming off by simply stepping on it. These houses are falling apart with just looking at them and are not even close to what all these families pay for. They had a mandatory inspection when they changed form Lincoln to Liberty and had their inspectors pounding on doors like we don’t deserve common courtesy and pay to live here. There’s never hot water in the kitchen or to take a shower, there’s always gas leaks and these houses are filled with mold. It’s very sad to see what kind of houses and assistance are provided for military families. There is so much more, I just simply advise to READ everything in your lease or just live off base. They also delete reviews so this might not even make it on here

It’s okay housing, noting great but not awful, it’s a lot of house for the BAH which is hard to find this close to base. Safe neighborhood except for the lack of speed bumps and stop signs. I want to add the dude below that used to be a tech, yeah, what they are “holding against him” is he almost ran over my child while we were crossing the street because even though we were in the middle of the road on a cross walk he “thought we saw him”. I think any employer would hold that against you, tony the dude that took care of the case was really helpful and took the residents side, obviously,
And I guess my guy got fired or was advised to quit as it should be. 🤷🏻‍♀️

These people are wicked. For a Civilian to live on base you’re charging them 1500 but military members are being charged their entire pay check and are suffering when the whole point of housing is to help and support families. PLEASEEE DO NOT MOVE INTO MILITARY HOUSING.
