I’ve been living in this neighborhood for four years now, and I can’t speak highly enough of the housing company. They’ve always been quick, timely, and incredibly polite when it comes to handling any maintenance requests. I’d especially like to give a shout-out to Steve, the maintenance worker. He’s always professional, efficient, and friendly. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. I truly appreciate the great service and attention to detail they provide. Highly recommend!

We’ve been living in North DeLuz for about 18 months, we started our journey with Hunt kinda rocky. Prior to moving in we would call and no one would answer, the leasing office was not responsive and when they would respond, the interactions with the staff would be unpleasant. After being told we’d have a 4-bedroom home by our arrival date but unfortunately it was not available and we ended up accepting a 3-bedroom home instead.

However, things did improve and now feel compelled to write a review. I want to take a moment to recognize Kenny from maintenance. He is the definition of professionalism. Working with Kenny is an absolute joy. He takes the time to listen to my concerns, and offers prompt resolution. He is very respectful of my home, and our family. Thank you so much Kenny!

Our family has been residing in DeLuz (North) since March 2023. When we started the leasing process it was somewhat difficult. We were currently in NC while husband was deployed and could not accept the home unless we were physically present. Day 1: I flew across country to only have the papers emailed to me across the desk from the housing rep to fill out on my phone then send back to her (I could have done that in NC). After signing papers, she drove her car for me to follow to show me our house. (It was after hours, my connecting flight was delayed). When she eventually got the door open to the home, it was very unpleasant. Very strong paint fumes (could not sleep in the house!), light bulbs burnt out, no shower curtain rod in bathroom, flooring destroyed in pieces in the pantry and laundry room, huge hole in bedroom door, appliance issues, large pile of trash and previous tenants' belongings in the garage, etc. She was courteous enough to provide me access to the hospitality home they keep available for such instances. And presented me with a gift card to purchase some supper and breakfast the next morning for the issues and inconveniences. Day 2: I returned to the house, looked everything over well in the daylight, cleaned the house, went and bought groceries and a microwave, and made the list of every issue I could find. Submitted the issues on paper and through email with pictures and videos attached. Day 3 : I flew back to NC for my brother's wedding, and then two weeks later started the week long drive across country with toddler, dog and mother in law. We arrived March 17, I signed papers and left list of issues February 21. A total of 25 days in between and nothing was repaired or fixed in those 25days before I returned to move in. It was a struggle and took almost another month to finally *mend* everything. And then the communication between tenants and maintenance was always ridiculous, answers were never the same, and constant issues. Management and employees were just a revolving door.
Here is where it turns around....
This past summer, July 2024, a new leasing manager came on the scene and things have FINALLY been changing in the neighborhood. Houses have/are being Pressure washed and painted (scheduling was hit or miss but it's getting done), trees trimmed or removed for safety, community events that are welcoming, involving small business food trucks in our neighborhood (win/win) and the new manager has kept up on communications and issues. There are more new plans in place for 2025 which are exciting!
The best representation so far I feel was on Christmas this year (2024). Christmas Eve, there was a main water pipe bust/gieser in our neighborhood and everyone was affected! It's the base' responsibility to maintain the water lines, not our personal neighborhood staff, but the new manager went above and beyond to assist everyone as well as he could with it being Christmas Eve and so many places being closed. He contacted everyone to keep us updated on results, and had folks out there quick to make temporary repairs, got the local gym to open up for people to be able to shower, setup port-a-johns on every corner in the neighborhood, and had multiple military 400 gallon water buffalo's setup throughout the neighborhood too. He did not have to do ANY of that but he really saved every family's Christmas as best he could and we were so very grateful. Within 24 hours the temp fix was in place until the necessary parts could be ordered and shipped, and by Christmas night we were able to resume normal life 😊 also, we had some work orders to submit and they were all addressed within 24 hrs! we are so glad to see the progress, effort and care that has been displayed with the new team!

They treated us a lot better than we thought we would be. We were told by friends to expect thousands in charges when moving out. We did our part and kept our house clean and weren't charged a dime. The staff always took care of us and reached out to make sure we were doing okay. Thank you for the support and continue doing great things.

We have lived in DeLuz North since Feb 2023, in our time here there has been at least 4 directors/temporary directors and all have shown no improvement for our community which seemed to have been pretty neglected for many years prior to us arriving. However our newest director, Sean, has shown such promise and an actual want and care to make this place better. I’ve spoken with him personally and he’s truly a great guy! He is doing wonders here! The new maintenance director/manager, Paul, is also great! Since his arrival the maintenance department seems much more organized and responsive. They also have had a change in their want to help better this neighborhood instead of providing quick fixes to appease. One guy who has been in the maintenance department since we’ve been here is Kenny and he has been wonderful always!

Recently moved in and we love our new home. The neighborhood is very clean and quiet and the neighbors have been very friendly and inviting. The day we moved in, we were immediately contacted to make sure we were happy and everything was to our liking and there were no issues that needed to be addressed. There’s a really nice playground close to the house that our little one is going to love. The pool area looks like a resort and we can’t wait to use it! Huge thank you to everyone that went above and beyond to make sure our moving process went as smoothly as possible.

Loved how they added all the umbrellas and sitting area ! The pool gives resort vibes! Can’t wait to keep enjoying it all summer long! Everything was nice and cleaned.
