We've stayed twice here in the winter, at two different cabins, and will stay here again next time in the area. Each small log cabin has a living room with warm pellet stove, sleeping loft, bathroom (with nice sauna!), and kitchen with fridge, stove/oven, full sink. The cabins have been well-loved and do show some wear, but the owner keeps them very clean and is wonderfully helpful if you need anything. This is a great place after long days hunting in the snow to dry out gear, warm up with hot drinks and supper, and relax muscles in the awesome sauna. The loft has two comfortable beds--a double and a single in the ones we stayed--and the linens provided are clean and soft. This is a great place to stay if you're in the Delta Junction area, worth the side trip off the beaten path for lodging. The view of the mountains each morning was spectacular and the lack of road traffic made it peacefully quiet. The owners maintain a little bison museum next door at the gas pump/office bldg that is worth checking out. Some really nice mounts, pelts, photos, and maps. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Superb hospitality on the part of Eva and her husband. Friendly and filled with great stories. Property is very cozy and has all you need, and nothing you don't. A very welcoming place. The museum is a treat. The stuffed animals throughout were very impressive.

This was one of our favorite stays on our winter Alaska trip. Very nice host, making sure we were comfortable.

The cabin was cozier and cuter than expected. Best of all, I was able to watch and photograph the northern lights from my loft bed in my PJs! And our wake up call was a majestic floofy giant malamute who was kind enough to let us rub his fluffy belly and take pictures with us. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed in cabin #5 over the Labor Day Weekend and were delighted. It is exactly as advertised. Someone from down south expecting fake "rustic" commercial lodging would be disappointed, but as an Alaskan looking for a rough inexpensive cabin to get away to, it was awesome! ||||They've packed a lot of features into a small cabin. The electric sauna is, indeed, indoors and functioned great! We did not put water on the stones and found the heat was fabulous. There was an apartment-sized fridge with small microwave above, a 4-burner gas range and hot water in the kitchen, shower and bath faucets. I took a great shower and didn't run out of hot water. Towels, soap, dishsoap and even some dishes and a couple of pans provided. There was a small TV with a built-in DVD player even! ||||We didn't get cell reception part of the time, which added to the relaxing get-away aspect. Lighting was great. #5 didn't have a pellet stove, but there was a gas wall-mounted heater, but the sauna being right below the loft heated things up enormously anyway so we really didn't need it. ||||Very nice couch. No seating on the front porch, but we carried the rough wood kitchen chairs out. I'd probably bring my camp chairs next time. Electric coffee maker was quite new, I only made hot water for tea and it came out clean and didn't taste like coffee grounds. "Town" is about 17 miles away, which is where the restaurants and IGA Grocery store are, but there is gas at the roadhouse.||||The view of the mountains was staggering and beautiful as you step out the door.||||One of the best parts about the cabin was how CLEAN it was!! Also, I have terrible allergies and was a little concerned about an indoor sauna, but had no problem. No mildew/musty smell, just a faint bleach smell.||||Like the previous reviewer, we too found the cabin well loved and just a little bit worn, (not the couch!) but I would expect this for an Alaskan cabin. We feel we've found a treasure, especially at this price! And Evah in the store was SO nice and looked things up in the phone book and called her friends to help us find a restaurant and other things.||||Really great experience, we hope to go back again!

Such clean, charming and cozy cabins! Kery (the owner) and his wife were such incredible hosts. They were helpful in suggesting local things to see and do, especially the ice caves suggestion! Absolutely beautiful views from the cabins. Great hospitality and genuine service. Thankful for our stay.

Clean and cozy cabins with sauna! Very friendly host who shares his knowledge about local life. He even let us stay beyond the checkout time. Great museum at the convenience store. You get value for every buck you pay. Will definitely recommend to anyone traveling this road. Worth the detour on our way from Glenn to Fairbanks

We didn't stay in the nice looking cabins. I've stopped there for gas, food, beverages,to look at the Alaskan museum, the various fur bearers pelts and the taxidermy. Full size mounts including a bison, a muskox, a wolf, a fox, ptarmigan, grouse, lynx, many others.

Old Alaskana. Great service from smiling folks . Real Alaskan milk in glass jugs. Old school, friendly Alaskan staff.

Super cute cabin tucked outside the sleepy town of Delta Junction. The store next the cabins is a great place to stop in and look around. Haus, the giant furry dog is quick to meet you at check in, and we even saw him pulling a sled at Castner Cave. My kids loved all over Haus!

Cabins are very clean, and had all the basics we needed for cooking. Perfect for two adults and two small children to stay in. The northern lights out on a spectacular show for us!

We will definitely stay here again on our next vacation to Alaska.
