I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with New York Melon Bank regarding the hold on our company funds, which have been inaccessible for the past two months. As our intermediary bank, we expected timely communication and support, but despite providing all requested information, we have received no updates.

Our attempts to reach your customer service by phone have been unsuccessful, and the investigation team at Chase has also reported a lack of response from your bank. This lack of communication is not only frustrating but has also severely impacted our business operations.

We urgently request an update on the status of our funds and a clear explanation for this delay.

Going thru many hoops to obtain an IRA distribution of which Im the beneficiary.
Mellon requires a mediallian signature guarantee. Besides this being and obscure procedure which hardly anyone knows about its time consuming and requires a 3rd party financial instutions' involvement. All this so Mellon can hold on to MY money longer!!!! Real sketchy business practice.
It doesnt deserve any stars but one cannot post without.

They own BenefitWallet. The ONLY company to not return my marriage certificate for a name change, even though I included a note requesting for them to return it. Weeks after the name change goes through, they deny a rollover request because they demand another marriage certificate. AFTER they already took 1 of 2 of my certified copies and refuse to pay me the $27.50 it costs to get another one. Customer service is worthless. They claim they will ask the appropriate department to return it. Yes, like it isn't sitting in a landfill by now. What scumbags. If they are this careless with personal documents, how much more careless about highly confidential information?

I did not think to ask the name of the person who answered my numerous attempts to speak with someone regarding my desire to get a duplicate of my 1099 issued in behalf of my late husband’s Howard University pension funds. I should have, because the employee went far beyond the usual one after engaging in s conversation of what I needed; what I had tried before, etc. She asked me to wait on hold: when she returned to the connection she explained that she could not personally access the info and that she had checked the numbers I was not able to reach (mailbox full) because the University was on Spring Break. I was treated with respect and felt ‘seen’ and I told her so. BYN Mellon is a vast organization and I suspect there is some link that can let that one person who made the difference, know that I deeply appreciated that act of kindness .

Call the posted number and when the automated directory indicated that I should "stay on the line" I did. That lasted for about 30 seconds and the line was disconnected. Totally useless.
