Do NOT rent from this greedy company, they will not give you your deposit back even if it’s perfect and BETTER than you left it, they charged me 250$ more after my deposit was drained from lies, just because I had left a few hangars in the closet supposedly. these people are scammers at best and find any reason to cause an issue, Terrible company 0/5.

The people who work there are nice enough, and my rent is ok, but the late fee should be illegal. $75 a day is ridiculous and should not be allowed by law. Ridiculous.

Horrible property management. Ac went out on a Friday, called their “emergency maintenance line” and left a message. I received a text after that said we’ll be there on Monday. Mind you, this was only 30 mins or so after end of business on Friday. Told them it was 77 degrees in the apartment and we had NO ac, still refused to respond to me. Why have an emergency line if you’re not going to come out to fix anything? Isn’t not having AC an “emergency”? Our old property manager made sure we were taken care of, even having maintenance come out on weekends if needed. Every single time I call them, I’m met with attitude and snark. 10 out of 10 DO NOT recommend renting through Forrest and Fields.

Just stopped in for business and was not impressed with the shared office with other businesses. It just felt cheap like I have never seen 3 businesses share one space. The staff was dressed for a picnic not business and you can't tell what employee works for what business. Unfortunately, this wasn't the place for me to move forward with my experience and salary request at its minimum. I would like to share that the manager was dressed with a blazer and represented the business well but I did mention to her the staff was dressed down she explained it's casual but it's picnic casual is jeans a blouse and blazer or cardigan. I was looking into the real estate part of the business and with requesting that a Property Manager have a real estate license also is extreme. Especially when you consider they pay less than managers of fast food. Especially when they are offering no benefits. Especially when your using your own vehicle to get to properties. Frankly community property managers get salaries and benefits that do the same job and require no real estate license the bottom line is property managers are property managers not realtors. Regardless I found this company wanted to barely pay for one title and essentially get a realtor as a freebie without paying the employee for the license. If you have a real estate license why would you ever work for a management company really they sure weren't paying enough for it. Also didn't offer any health insurance at all, really offered no benefits at all. So on the employment stand point if you are young living with parents pursue it. If you are an adult with adult bills this isn't for you. Frankly I wouldn't hire them because of how the office presents and the staff didn't look professional. I asked myself as a possible future resident would I see this office as organized professionals and since I'm confused about where one company stops and another begins I answer I wouldn't. The bottom line is even in the south business requires you to be dressed for business not a picnic. Jeans are not acceptable if it's not a company approved Friday or with a blouse and blazer not a team tshirt and jeans on a Monday morning. Just think if you walked in the bank even the local mattress sale store and saw team tshirts and jeans on all the staff members like really the staff represent your business. Also the way the office is divided is confusing and presents tacky. I hope this honest review helps both the business practice as well as future clients, residents, and those seeking employment.

We were trying to get a showing of three rental properties and for some odd reason kept getting the runaround since last week. My fiancé explained that he’s a truck driver. He specifically took time off to try to get tours for these properties. We have a hour drive and she couldn’t work with us to show them or the times would be last minute that we had no time to make it to the properties. Needless to say she claim they were all rented out as of yesterday after she took his name down to show two this morning. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! And I’m definitely ready for any feedback denying it.

Happy Eastgate Landing resident here! Called the office because of a pay rent online issue and some maintenance my place needed. While the office staff was very courteous and helpful, the focus of my review will be the maintenance professional that responded. The following morning, Robert called me before leaving Dothan (20 minutes away) to let me know that he was on his way. Upon arrival, he quickly remedied most of the trouble I was having. After readily assessing a faulty board on a kitchen appliance, he said he would check prices on the part or a replacement unit. Ultimately, he removed and replaced the appliance the next business day. He was methodical and very practiced.

His attention to detail, no nonsense approach, and exceptional work ethic are a credit to himself and Forrest & Fields. Very happy resident indeed!

Do y’all always raise people’s rent without their knowledge? Also do you know by Law that you are to give your residents 30 days prior notice in any changes of services !!!!!! Also your maintenance men cannot charge your residents for doing work orders, that’s their job because you pay them to fix problems on your properties. Next time it’s brought to my attention that someone’s door isn’t closing the proper authorities will be notified. I do understand rental rights being that I managed a very Professional Apartment Complex consisting of 400 units. Your treatment of residents is horrendous, and disgraceful.
