Sharron Parker and Meryll Russell, a mother/daughter team, are simply great to work with when buying a new home in Leisure Village. We first toured Leisure Village with Sharron about 3 years ago when visiting our son in LA. She showed us the entire community and several homes and helped us realize that Leisure Village would be a great place to move to from New York, but we were not yet ready to make that big decision. Sharron kept in touch with us over the next two years, during which time we finally decided it was time to make the cross-country move. When we returned to California, we met Meryll, who was nice enough to show us the community again and a few homes. Over the next few months, Meryll went out of her way to set up several virtual tours (one even while we were overseas) and at long last we found an Amalfi model that checked all of our boxes. Four weeks later, we closed.

Meryll and Sharron were always responsive to our many questions and they went above and beyond to help us through the buying process from start to finish. All of the electronic "paperwork" was managed with us in New York and Meryll was always available at any time of day (even with the 3 hour difference) to help us navigate the many documents required to close escrow; she is an expert on this phase of the home buying process. In addition, she and Sharron made themselves available to check on work being done on the house both before and after closing, since we live so far away. This personal touch made us feel confident that the house was in good hands prior to closing and when we came out for the walk-through, they helped make sure everything went smoothly.

It's been a pleasure doing business with Sharron and Meryll and we highly recommend them for anyone looking for a wonderful realtor/broker team that is experienced, knowledgeable, proactive, and most important, are really nice people.

Sharron and Meryll from “We Sell Leisure Village” came highly recommended from several friends who have bought in “The Village”. They were super responsive to our request for a meeting and in short order came up with a plan to help us sell my Mom’s home. Through their expert guidance and vast list of contractors, we were able to renovate the home at a reasonable cost and get a very fair offer on the home in a quick timeframe. Meryll guided us through the whole escrow process and they both were always available to meet with the contactors so that I didn’t have to be there. This was a huge help! I would say, the hardest part of this process was learning to spell Sharron’s name with two R’s and Meryll’s name with two L’s! You won’t find anyone more knowledgeable about “The Village” than these two women and they will work hard to get you your desired result.

I’ve lived in Leisure Village, in a rental for two years. In February I was told they were selling the property, and I would need to move. After some ups and downs trying to by the house, I had to let it go. After some of the shell shock wore off – I needed to move forward.
My head was still spinning, I had a little more than 30 days to buy a house, pack my house and move.
It had been thirteen years since buying my last house, plus I had never delt with an HOA before, and was totally overwhelmed.
I saw a sign on a house across the street, called Meryll Russell and we were off to the races. Meryll led me though every step, of course giving me choices, but following her lead was the right thing to do. We were dealing with an agent that was not familiar with the village, so she was guiding both sides of the deal with ease and knowledge.
The listing was “as Is”, however it needed termite work, a new heating and air system (that was original), asbestos abatement and more. She negotiated the deal so we got all those items covered.
With-in the first week, we wrote an offer, Meryll set up appointments for a home inspection, termite, and heating and air conditioning companies and more. She knew what we needed and made it happen. She was always steps ahead, her guidance and knowledge are amazing, anything that came up she took care of. I got a call from Meryll late one day, she said there was a problem with the insurance, but I didn’t want to let you know till we fixed it. (WOW!) There was also, oh you need a permit for that or this, but I already got it (WOW again).
There were so many things she took care of for me, even before I knew I need them. I could not be more appreciative and feel so lucky to have Meryll Russell and Sharron Parker as my agents. It’s amazing getting to work with wonderful people you like and can trust completely.
We managed to close the deal in less than 30 days!!

I ended up using the termite company, abatement company and air and heating companies that she recommended. I am so impressed by these companies, they did excellent work, guarantee their work and left everything cleaner than they found it.
