I would recommend Seaside Realty to my closest friends and family. Chris, the owner, is amazing. It took us a few years to find a house we liked and could afford, but he was never impatient with us. He knew exactly what we were looking for, and he never gave up on us, sending us properties he thought we would like. He always went the extra mile, doing extra research into neighborhoods, as well as possible risk factors, like landslides, etc. Unlike so many realtors, he was never pushy, and he never seemed to be in it to make a quick sell. In fact, various times he warned us against properties because he felt they weren't safe or had other issues. When we wanted to stop looking for a while, he understood. Even when we decided to pull out of an offer we had accepted, he was patient and understanding. He really felt like a friend who had our best interests at heart. I never thought I'd be a homeowner, but Chris really made it happen for us. I've seen a lot of agents out there, when we were looking at homes for YEARS, and Chris is by far the most down to Earth, most honest, most friendly, the most real. I remember thinking how other agents seemed so creepy and out for the sale. Chris put us at ease. We completely trusted him and feel so lucky to have found him. I really can't recommend him highly enough!

The following paragraphs delineate our experiences with Chris Chin during our search for a home.
We have now been living happily in our new home, here in Newbury Park, for nearly six months. In short, purchasing and moving to this house was one of the finest decisions of our lives. Yet none of this would have happened without Chris Chin’s two-year-long commitment and persistence.
As home buyers we were indecisive, sporadic, apprehensive, and ignorant in all things pertaining to real estate. All we could agree on is that we had to move out of Ventura to bring our kids closer to their schools and activities in Los Angeles. As Fatima put it, “It’s time to leave this village!”
At the same time, Chris had to contend with our high expectations: The price point must be less than one one million; we still want the temperate coastal climate of Ventura and Oxnard - Westlake and Agoura are prohibitively hot; and the location, preferably in a cul-de-sac, must have plenty of walkable paths, a community pool, nearby tennis courts, and a quality supermarket within reach. Having met dozens of real estate agents, I doubt there is a single one in Ventura County who would have put up with us.
However, Chris is much more than an “agent;” he is a highly educated, knowledgeable, meticulous, and indefatigable real estate broker. Each time we viewed a house, he would give a detailed report on both the house and the neighborhood. When I thought I had found the perfect home – what a backyard! – Chris discovered major cracking in the foundation, as if the house were splitting in two, and advised against its purchase. Likewise, he kept detailed notes of each house we visited, noting potential future issues. Finally, these in-person tours persisted for two years... And even when we would give up searching for a month or two, Chris never gave up on us.
Most importantly, in our opinion, Chris is honest and patient. He always presented the pros and cons, and not once did we feel rushed to make a decision.
The end result, with all the criteria met, is we are in our “perfect home” now.

I can’t say enough good things about Chris. Our Westlake Village home was for sale due to our not so amicable divorce, which made Chris’s job more difficult as he had to communicate with us separately. Throughout the whole sales process, Chris provided excellent advice and guidance, as well as thorough, prompt communication by phone and email. When it came time to negotiate with prospective buyers, he was always looking out for our best interest. Chris Chin was not only our realtor but fast became a friend. There were never any feelings of pressure but instead a genuine concern to understand our desires and the commensurate efforts to find a home that fit them.
