Last week I purchased a new automobile. I went to Frontwave Credit Union and asked to join the credit union and get an auto loan at the same time. I met with Tyler Hong. Tyler did a very good job representing the credit union. He is knowledgeable of the products the credit union has to offer and explained them to me in detail. I was approved for the loan almost instantly. My wife and I signed the papers and they prepared a check for the car dealer. I can highly recommend Frontwave Credit Union for the services they offer. Besure to ask for Tyler. I'm sure he will give you the same quality services I received last week.

I have been a member of Pacific Marine Credit Union since 2007. I was disheartened when the current board changed their loyalty from serving the West Coast Marines, to serving the general public, and changed the name to Frontwave, which then changed many different policy’s and the way they handled their customers. This bank is all about money and no longer about the customer, which again, used to primarily be Marines that started at MCRD Camp Pendleton. One big red flag I want to point out to, is that their mortgages, for instance, are wholesaled through Navy Federal Credit Union, which is a loyal bank, and doesn’t only service members of the Navy, but anyone, however they have remained true to their culture and members. I recently bought another house, I didn’t attempt to use Frontwave as the mortgage holder, however, I didn’t need to wire $40k the day the house closed. For many banks, this is not an issue, however for Frontwave, this was a whole new level and they had many hoops to jump through, including, having a damn NOTARY sign the wire transfer form. They THEN, after having all the proper documentation, said it would take up to 3 business days. The title company was dumbfounded, as they deal with these transactions all the time. They couldn’t believe the bank was that lackluster they wouldn’t commit to a one day transfer. Not a huge deal, hit a button, transfer to said account, and done. On top of that, with plenty of my own, hard worked for money in that account, I have attempted to transfer $15k to my “verified” account I now have. The app says there’s a $2k a day limit, $5k a week limit, and $10k per month limit. What in the actual h***!?!? It’s MY money. I’m not draining my account, I needed a check and do not have access to a Frontwave bank anymore. I then called the customer service number, knowing from a friend who manages a few of these, they can indeed waive it, who flat out declined and said she wouldn’t transfer me to a supervisor as it was a waste of time, I would only be denied. This is a money hunger, self servicing, greedy company. The board, the CEO, whom I personally have met at an atm onboard Camp Pendleton are either clueless, or selfish as can be. Stay away from this bank!! If you have made it this far into the review, I promise, you will regret ever signing up with them. On top of all I have listed, they hardly have any free atm’s to use, and on top of the fee the atm will charge, they backdoor charge you another $2 for using it!

If you’re going to a concert here just be prepared to sit in traffic for at least one hour even in the premium parking. It’s horrible.

Been a member for almost 20 years. They say they work with you but they never do. They have gotten to the point where all they do is pass the buck on to someone else. Everytime I call it's a new issue with someone else with is bank. So after almost 20 years I will be finding another bank to do business with.

And yet again you all fail. You get my hopes up and then crush them. This a terrible bank. I am disabled vet they are literally forcing into bankruptcy. What a nice bank thanks guys.

My wife & I were recently involved in a car accident, unfortunately a DUI driver rear ended us, totaled our car. After much prayer, we visited our local frontwave branch, who were extremely busy that Saturday, yet they scheduled us an apt at the rocky point branch. We were helped by Tyler H, and all I can say is thank God for this amazing worker! Tyler was extremely warm hearted, and made us feel supported by our bank to help us get back on the road after a new auto loan application. Tyler's friendly customer service should be the model for care in our opinion. Thank you frontwave for hiring Tyler, he represents your company well . It's customer service like that that motivates us to want to stay with frontwave. Thank you again.

To say that Leah, Tyler, & Cesar go above and beyond for their members is a complete understatement. I left the branch very upset this past Saturday because of a mistake that was made (Not their mistake specifically). I was ready to jump ship to Navy Fed right then and there. When I came back into the branch for some understanding, the Branch Manager, Cesar, was extremely apologetic and promised to not only to find a way to resolve the mistake immediately, but to also provide a thorough explanation as to what caused it. The matter was resolved in less than an hour. Once complete, Leah helped me complete the process and followed up with me days later to assure me that everything was being taken care of on their end. Tyler is incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented. He makes sure to not miss anything that would delay the process or inconvenience the member. They are the Frontwave Dream Team in my eyes. GIVE THEM A RAISE PLEASE!

I’ve been to this branch several times and have always found the staff to be pleasant and attentive, but today the branch manager Christina was a ROCKSTAR!!

I’m going through financial difficulties that stem from my divorce. She worked her magic to set me up with a financial product that lowered my monthly payments, gave me cash in hand and allowed me to pay off my credit card.
