Seller agent (who was the neighbor of the seller) repeatedly tried to pressure a fast offer from us while routinely deflecting and stalling attempts at deeper professional inspection of the property. She simultaneously continued to explain the sellers wanted a no-contingency contract because previous buyers backed out and they were "so stressed out". This is also after explaining to us how she "knew" the previous buyer would back out using their inspection contingency and kept marketing the house even though it was under contract (as if that was somehow supposed to make us feel better about working with her?). Endless ridiculous stories - pressure tactics to make offers, then stall tactics when I wanted to take additional looks at the property with contractors and inspectors. For some inexplicable reason she kept prattling on for weeks about how the sellers specifically had "chosen" me to be the buyer ( i couldn't make this up if i tried) and that they really wanted "people like us" to take over their home in the neighborhood and they would consider lower offers - DESPITE NEVER MEETING US! How creepy is that? I relayed an offer by text to see if we were in the right ballpark before wasting time on a full blown contract, she responded indicating the sellers were seriously considering taking the offer and again stressed it needed to move fast with no contingencies. She committed to be back to me with confirmation the next day. crickets. I had by this point committed to a less than one week closing schedule, cash offer with no contingencies so long as I could drop by once more with an inspector (as soon as the next day) to double check before entering the deal. More stall tactics, then two weeks later the house showed up on redfin sold at the EXACT offer i'd made. Miserable experience with a disgusting and seriously creepy person. Looking back, we dodged a bullet and are thankful this agent won't be our new neighbor!

Brittany Arrington, a realtor with this agency, came into my home unannounced today 15 minutes before her scheduled showing time. There was no notice, no knock on the door, and most importantly, no recognition or apology for barging into my primary residence which not only shook me up but also my dogs. She argued with me about why she is allowed to show my house before her scheduled slot time instead of respecting that boundaries were crossed. Her clients were rude and disrespectful to me as well, shifting all the blame on me, a young single woman who was unprepared and startled that strangers entered her house before their scheduled appointment time. I live and work from home and also have a tenant here making it all the more disruptive. To top it off, she wasn’t scheduled to come to my home today at all! It was her partner, Ken Grodner, who was supposed to be showing my home, which made this chaotic situation all the more confusing and startling. I received no recognition for the stress this caused me and my fur family and absolutely no apology. This seems unethical and not the manner in which realtors should be allowed to conduct their business operations.
