We have had a wonderful experience leasing from Quaglino Properties. We took on quite the remodel project on Broad Street in San Luis Obispo by totally transforming a former car dealership into a beautiful vibrant restaurant space and Quaglino Properties was right there with us as the best landlord/partner we could have hoped for. From start to finish our transactions were personable and professional. As a family run company they are also extremely supportive of our family business which is so nice and constantly makes us feel that they truly care about their tenants continued success. We are thrilled that we were able to make the move that we did and that Quaglino Properties was with us every step of the way. A few years ago, no longer wanting to maintain my own property, I entertained the idea of going from homeowner to renter. I was on the fence, as I’d heard so many nightmare stories about bad experiences with landlords and property managers, but then I drove by a building in downtown SLO, fell in love with it at first sight, and couldn’t believe my luck when I saw, “ Apartments for Lease” on the front door. I called Quaglino’s Properties and a very fun and property manager named Sue showed me around the place. I learned that during the recent renovation the owner, Matt Quaglino, with help from his son, Adam, had been adamant about maintaining the 1920s vibe of the historic building, from original lighting fixtures, to doors and windows, and floor coverings. Beautiful.

My decision was immediate, but the sale of my house was not…I was so relieved and grateful that the Quaglino’s were willing to work with me during that anxious time and Sue was SO helpful and patient while things slowly fell into place. I finally moved into the building and apartment of my dreams and I have not regretted the decision for one moment. Here’s why:

Quaglino’s has been a respected family owned and operated company in our community for many years and carry their personal integrity, honesty, and friendly communication style into their professional practices. I have never felt like a “tenant” and have always been treated with respect. When I have an issue or question, one of the Quaglino’s team is there. From Patrick, head of maintenance, to Sue and Heather, awesome property managers, to everyone in their office, responses are always immediate and friendly. Now, granted, my issues have been few as the building is meticulously maintained inside and out, but even my question about how to reach the top controls on the new stackable washer/dryer was met with a little step stool the very next day!
