If you are considering moving here, please do yourself a favor and look literally anywhere else. Having lived here for 6+ years, I can say with certainty that you do NOT want to live in the glorified truck stop that is this side of Castaic. Nothing feels safe, you are accosted every day by unpleasant sights, sounds, and smells, there are transients everywhere, crime and break-ins are commonplace, and not to mention the traffic... THE TRAFFIC. Since there is nothing worth visiting or doing in Castaic you will likely have to use the freeway to get anywhere, and any time the freeway shuts down, what's normally only a couple-minute drive can take HOURS since there are only two ways in and out of the area, the 5 freeway and The Old Road, and both get severely jammed any time there is an accident, fire, construction, snow closure on the grapevine, etc... This happens multiple times a year, and sometimes for weeks on end, and will leave you questioning your sanity and why you ever decided to move to Castaic.

On top of all of that, this apartment complex specifically is managed by a greedy and manipulative property management company that is putting all its effort into sucking every last penny out of its tenants who are already being bled dry by inflation. They are trying to charge Santa Clarita prices for a living experience that is in every possible way a massive step down.
