Shoal water 1106 is an excellent condo to rent. Has been completely renovated and overall a very comfortable condo. New appliances were very nice and beds were very comfortable. Loved the big porch and balcony.

Just returned to chilly Chicago from an awesome week at Gulf Sands! This was our 5th time at the resort and we’ll be returning next year for sure. Our rooms were clean, bright and well equipped. Alexandria was a wonderful host who was responsive, friendly and helpful! The beach access felt private and breathtaking views of the Gulf and the beautiful sunsets nightly from our rooms. Couldn’t ask for a better paradise getaway. Gorgeous flowers, a huge tortoise ? we’ve seen every year right on our patio as well as a friendly egret, a bunny (surprising!) and even a resident kitty! Many thanks to Alexandria for another wonderful vacation. Can’t wait to return! Oh, did I mention the spectacular night sky over the Gulf with stars galore visible with no city lights to cloud the view!

Dishes were not washed. Seemed liked they were only rinsed and not scrubbed (see pics). Also found a swimsuit out on the balcony that the previous renters left.
Balcony is not completely private as the left side also faces street and building next door where there is no privacy (people could watch from their hotel rooms at us if wanted). No boardwalk and the place was a little outdated. I attempted to get a refund on the cleaning fees since the rules also stated we had to take out trash, have everything washed/put up etc.. so why should we have to pay fees as we had to clean ourselves at that.
I spoke with VRBO directly regarding this matter and they stated they indeed contacted this establishment and the only information relayed over to me was that you all apologized but was not to refund the cleaning fees. I was charged about $200 for the cleaning fees and the $50 just does not suffice. It was incredibly inconvenient (apart from just plain disgusting) having to deal with dirty dishes. We were celebrating a birthday for our annual visit at Gulf Shores and wanted to fully utilize the kitchen but was unable to as I was upset about the matter in having to wash more than I had to.  I have never in my life seen dishes not washed, even at the most cheapest establishments that I've been to in my younger years. And of course, having to clean after ourselves when we left IS a major inconvenience. Hence, $50 is not adequate, especially since we also had to clean.

Blue Atlantis - Stayed 6 nights 7 days
Family 4th of July trip. Slept 9 adults and 4 children. Plenty of room to spread out and yet not be separated from one another.
Our goal was to have close family time. Excellent location we had children travel from FL, ARK, TX and TN. Will certainly stay here again. Beautiful private beach. Large kitchen and dining table which had plenty of seating for our group of 13. Our time was spent on the beach and relaxing at the beach house. We cooked some but mostly brought in fresh seafood for dinner.
We ate all meals at Blue Atlantis! We just didn't want to leave this peaceful place.

I have used Gulf Sands several times. Recently we stayed at Alabama Sands #4 August 4-8.I was very impressed with how clean and cozy this place was. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a rental. I will definitely be renting this unit again.

Stayed at Harbor House B4 for about the 10th time. Absolutely love the location well furnished clean and comfortable. Lots of fond memories will definitely be back but not in August spring or fall for me.

We stayed at crystal shores 1006 everything was great easy check in beautiful views would definitely rent this condo again and definitely would go through gulfsands rental to do it. We got to gulf shores early and they email us that condo was ready early and the pass lock numbers for the door so we could check in early Great experience with gulf sands rental
