Mrs. Kim was a great landlord for my situation. She was always easy to get in contact with about any problem. It was a smooth transition to move in and move out with her. Overall, I can recommend Mrs. Kim as a landlord because she was always warm and welcoming while being able to constantly answer all my questions.

Terrible management company. Who knows what their integrity is like when it comes to real-estate...RIP to anyone selling their home with them... Untrustworthy, incapable, and entirely absent. The only one who was useful and responsive was the private contractor they use for repairs and general maintenance.

Our apartment building was broken into on 2 separate occasions, as well as numerous packages stolen. After one of the break-ins (or 'security' compromise) a vagrant was sleeping in the basement, set up a nice little camp, open food, broken and stolen goods all over the place. They then stole from multiple units. Once the code locks were changed they broke into a side screen window and set up camp in the "fitness room" (which never came to be).

It took the property management 3.5months! to have the space downstairs cleaned up of urine, moldy food, broken furniture, and god knows what else was in that heap...

After repeatedly requesting that cameras be added to common areas and entry ways (2), by both tenants and local law enforcement...nothing was ever done to prevent future events compromising the safety of the tenants and their property.

Upon leaving we were price gouged for services "needed in order to re-rent the unit" however leaving it in better condition than we found it. Read the lease VERY carefully, as you are signing your rights as a tenant away with the vague, indeterminant legalese. $50 per nail hole?!

Think long and hard before you rent from these people.

Hi Everybody,

I wanted to let everyone here know that I have loved living here! I have lived in different places throughout my life and this has been one of the best experiences. I have been here for over a year now and love the convenience to some of the best local restaurants and bakeries! Within minutes there are gas stations, nail and hair salons, bars, liquor stores, bus and train stations. It is a very safe community and have felt like home here. I have made friends with neighbors that feels like family. It is a brand new building with all the brand new amenities you could ask for. There is plenty of parking and even underground parking! We even have a fantastic gym here. There are beautiful views of the mountains and the walls and windows are so thick that you don't here the or the cars that drive by. Milot Real Estate really keeps up with the property and maintenance of this place including plowing, vacuuming the hallways and cleaning the gym and walk in area! I have had such an amazing experience living here. If you ever need anything, Mitzie the property manager is just a phone call or text away and she always gets back to me right away. She is so friendly and attentive to the building and she is literally the best property manager I have ever had! It's been so nice to be able to call her if you need anything and the response time with Mitzie is perfection! Thank you Milot Real Estate and Mitzie for being so amazing! You guys truly care about the people in this community and have made this an awesome experience!

For a year I paid for a gym that didn’t exist even though I was told that our rent included one. Maintenance was not reliable. Missing packages in the lobby. People littering and leaving their pets waste. Over flowing trash and recycling. Random storage units not associated with your unit number (confusing). Law enforcement getting involved several times for domestic issues and noise complaints in the building.Good location. That’s it

I received a collections notice in the mail today for $1735. I moved out 1 month early (agreement with Brett) and even though I paid first/last/security they figure I some how owe them. The unit was left in the same condition as I rented it with the exception of a broken towel rack. Now unless that towel rack was made of gold this is fraudulent. Ive lodged a complaint with the BBB and Vermont Superior Court. If you were burned by this company now it the time to speak up so that the courts can record their shady activities. Brett failed to report the rent discrepancy to the corporate offices and tried to accuse me of only paying only first month and security deposit. BEWARE! Save every receipt and even if you do you can still find yourself in my situation!

Lived here for almost 2 years. It was the best first home for us! Beautiful views, no problems with neighbors. Anything that needed to be fixed was fixed right away. Misty is very responsive and so nice! Sad we have to leave but grateful for our time here. 10/10 would recommend

Since December 1st 2018 I've been contacting Brett and Veronica (the owner), of 18 Marie Lane in St Albans. It's a townhouse. The new tenants, who upon moving into the townhouse on December 1st did not pay their Vermont Gas bill or change the account to their name. I continue receiving notices for it because my name was the account owner with Vermont Gas as being the current tenant. I vacated the premises the end of November. I've been in continual contact with Vermont Gas explained the situation however they do not care about anything but receiving their money from me because my name was still on the account through December. I don't know how much easier this can be for Brett to take care of but yet it's still is going on. I'm very disappointed as I've had good experiences with Brett over the year and a half ,however this is ridiculous here we are 4 months later. I've had no response from the owner Veronica Erston or Brett . I continue receiving letters . I continue to keep Veronica and Brett in the loop, politely requesting assistance and resolution to take care of the situation with the new tenants. What am I supposed to do go over to the tenants townhouse, knock on the door and say hey what's up? No!! I believe it's the management company dropped the ball here and they need to fix it and they're not doing it.
