Had a wonderful experience renting from O'brien - my partner and I and our dog lived in the Hayes apartments for nearly three years and loved it. The maintenance crew is amazingly quick at resolving issues and every reported problem is treated as a priority. The neighborhood is friendly and good for walking/running, and the apartments themselves are bright and open. We'll miss this place!

Kurt were very thorough and quick with cleaning my dryer vents. I had many questions due to a previous botched job from another company. They explained every step and made sure I was happy with the results. Good customer service is hard to find these days. I’m glad to know it still exists. We rented from O’Brien brothers for over 2 years and had a great experience. There has been some turnover with property managers but the current one does a great job. The Hayes apartments are new,clean and well maintained. The move out process was easy and we received our security deposit back quickly. You deal with typical apartment issues which all rounds back to inconsiderate neighbors but no major issues and not much the rental company can do about it. I would recommend O’Briens to anyone looking to rent in the Chittenden County area.

New apartments with nice location is the plus. The cons include overpriced for what you get. $1400 dollars for a first floor apartment with a $25 pet fee per month and no assigned parking. Parking spots for tenants get constantly filled by guest parking. Property Managers do not respond to complaints. It takes multiple emails and calls to get a response. From what I was led to believe about getting more for what you pay for is very untrue about this establishment. Best suggestion is to stick with smaller landlords who care for loyal tenants and avoid bigger housing companies like O’Brien Brothers.
