Beautiful location and stunning sunsets!!! Brett was absolutely amazing in communicating with me and was quick to respond. Spacious house right on the lake and a view you must see for yourself! They had kayaks and life jackets available, fully equipped house, and a welcome packet with area attractions and stores. Parking is tight but doable for up to 3 cars only. The fishing off the dock in the bay, was more then enough to keep our adult kids occupied! I would highly recommend their home.

My husband and I spent the week of our 30th wedding anniversary at Carry Bay Getaway and had the best time!! We did a lot of boating and fishing (my husband did the fishing. I just enjoyed the views and the lake). We also drove to Burlington, New York and Montreal to do some shopping. We ate at some great restaurants near the house! It was the best week ever! Thank you Brett and George for letting us use your home and have such a great experience!!

Carry Bay Getaway is the perfect lakeside retreat. The hosts ensure that you have all instructions upon arrival and accentuate all the little details. From a welcome basket full of goodies to bathroom necessities, all household items are provided for use. There are even life jackets and kayaks in the basement to enjoy the lake. All you need to do is show up.

The deck off the living room has the most beautiful view of the lake and of the sunsets. The dock is only steps away and was perfect for our boat. The bay is nice and quiet with little to no boat traffic. The dock is also perfect for fishing. My dad caught a 14-16" fish within 10 minutes of casting his line.

There is also lots to do in the area. We enjoyed all the local restaurants, the peaceful Snow Farm Winery and the picturesque views of the lake from Kraemer and Kin Brewery on the Alburg Golf Links.

Truly a great vacation spot with hosts who care about your stay. It is no surprise this place books up as fast as it does. We simply would love to come back!

Our visit to Carry Bay Getaway was amazing. The view of the lake is beautiful, it was fun to watch the birds, ducks, and geese. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was the perfect place to watch the eclipse, we hope to return.

Carry bay getaway is truly a special house in a special place. What really set this gem apart for me was the attention to little things: the cleanest rental I’ve ever seen, the flawless central air, comfy beds with comfortable pillows, throw blankets, fully stocked kitchen, and all the extras in each bathroom provided. Views from this home are incredible— especially sunsets. Pool table, canoes, kayaks, water floaties, and cornhole are all for your usage (and stored in the cleanest basement known to man kind, may I add). Walking from the spacious interior out onto the deck overlooking carry bay + the mountains in the distance is priceless. Waking up in the morning with golden sunlight filtering through the house reflecting off the lake is really special. In North Hero and the surrounding areas there is something for everyone— biking, fishing, swimming, wineries, local farms and farm stands, and relics of american history wherever you go. The house is a stones throw from every main attraction in the area yet maintains its privacy tucked away on the lake. Phenomenal experience. This house is booked for months out for a reason.

Great house with great location and plenty to do for kids and adults.
Fishing-no problem, big fish at your feet and a vast variety. My record was 5lb bass.
Kayaking and beautiful sunsets and kayaks are provided.
Beautiful and comfortable house right on the water with long eliminated dock, grill, and fire pit.
Comfortable sleeping for all. Best 5 nights quality sleep on vacation for us.
Pool table and corn holes for extra family activities.
Good description of the area with amazing activities. A couple of state parks are just minutes away.
The owner is very responsible , and the house is very clean and well maintained .

We just returned from the most incredible week at Carry Bay Getaway!! This house and location was perfect for our family. The house was clean, comfortable and included all of the amenities we needed for our week long stay with our two kids. The kitchen has everything you need and the living room is comfortable with TV and streaming options for everyone. We spent most of our time outside exploring the beautiful area. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck overlooking beautiful Lake Champlain and the kids ate ice cream on the deck while watching the most unbelievable sunsets each night. They have everything you need to enjoy the beautiful outdoors (fire pit, grill, kayaks, floats)- something for everyone!
